NC, Virgina, Fl, even NV.... Toss up? I think not. Romney should easily carrie those states

I'm thinkin' NC and FL won't be good for Mr Obama.
I'll go out on a limb and say NM and maybe even MN will flip.

I grew up in the People's Republic of Minnesota. If Minnesota turns against the Big 0, he's toast.

Jason Lewis is enjoying some success in Minnesota, I think there are more people up there that are right of center than most people realize.

There ain't no way in hell North Carolina is a toss up
Even with the kool aid of hopey and changey in 2008 and the bad economy obama did not carry North Carolina it was given to him because it was a 50/50 split.
Bow after three years of a failed obama economy people are fed up. The governor is not running for re-election.

I grew up in Minnesota in a Union household that was also Irish Catholic.

Hubert Humphrey and Christ were on the highest and heavenly plane. Other democrats were a tad lower and all Republicans were in the pit of Hell beneath contempt and the root of all that was evil, dishonest, corrupt or hurtful.

My Sister and Brother in Law are both born again. Absolutely opposed to abortion, self reliant, obviously deeply christian, Minnesotans, union and Democrat.

I'll believe that Minnesota will go Republican when I see it happen.

USMB delusion alive and well in this thread, :cuckoo:

It's a hoot watching them delude themselves, isn't it?

Obama will take Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin and win fairly easily in November.

I can't wait for the meltdown that ensues here after the election.

Freedom's Lighthouse » 2012 Presidential Election Electoral Vote Map & Projection

I think that's being generous, giving him Arizona, which is probalby a tossup, and calling Wisconsin a tossup when it probably isn't.

But if you take this map at face value, Obama just nees to find 33 Electoral votes, and the Weird Mormon Robot needs to find 89.

Okay, let's look at cases. (You'll have to navigate by clicking on the states.

RealClearPolitics - 2012 Election Maps - Electoral Map

Wisconin- RCP Average +4.7 for Obama. 10 EV.

New Hamsphrise- RCP Average +6.4 for Obama. 4 EV.

Nevada - RCP Average +6 for Obama. 6 EV.

Iowa- RCP Average - 2.6 for Obama. 6 EV.

Ohio- RCP Average - 3.8 for Obama even with Rassmussen lying his ass off. 18 EV.

Virginia- RCP Average 2.5 for Obama. 13 EV.

Colorado - RCP Average Obama +1.7 9 EV's

So that's a total of 56 EV's where Obama is leading in "Swing" states. He could win with those along.

So let's look at the other states-

Florida- RCP Average - Romney +.5. 29 EV. Too razor thin to call, really.

NC - RCP Average - Romney 2.5 15 EV

Missouri - RCP Average No RCP Average, but a recent PPP Poll puts Obama up by one. Not to mention Obama is from a neighboring state. And Romney has always performed poorly in Missouri. He came in third in 2008 (Behind McCain and Huckabee) and a distant second in 2008 in a race where his only opponent was Santorum.

But a little secret about Missouri. They really hate Mormons there. Whatever the Mormons did in 1837, Missouri is still holding a grudge.

Now, Arizona is also an interesting case, because the bad behavior of Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe has really got the Hispanics worked up.

North Carolina should be red and you'll see Tuesday unless SEIU cheats like they did in NV with the machines automatically voting Reid in early voting. Anyway you'll see Tuesday Wisconsin will be Mitt's if Walker wins by 5 points I heard from a 'expert' I respect. Hell he's within margin of error here in libtardia MI. I don't see how Obama wins without epic cheating, just saying.

The meltdown will be you throwing a beer bottle at your television.

I don't drink so that's the second time you've been wrong in this thread.
