Labor is Prior to and Independent of Capital

The Chinese government operates in the old communist style but with a big difference. It's in an uneasy peace with business. As long as the people will tolerate a nondemocratic government, the government will allow the free market to flourish.

In other words, China is no longer communist.

They call themselves communist but if you take communism as defined under Karl Marx, you're correct.

When did MONEY come into the picture kids?

Did people WORK before it existed?

Yes?

Then obviously LABOR precedes CAPITAL.

Or maybe for some of us this still isn't obvious.

For those folks there is little point trying to explain ANY apodictic truth.

Those folks are faith, rather than reality based thinkers.

Silly lad.

The materials used to do labor (going as far back as a seed) preceded the labor of planting the seed.

The product of the combination of capital and labor resulted in profit.

The medium of exchange need not be "money."

We aren't really discussing "money."

We a discussing capital. And the terms "capital" and "money" are not necessarily synonymous.

Thanks for your fail, though.
