"The Kyoto Protocol, an international treaty aimed at reducing the emission of gases that contribute to global warming, went into effect.

The Kyoto Protocol was adopted as the first addition to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), an international treaty that committed its signatories to develop national programs to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), affect the energy balance of the global atmosphere in ways expected to lead to an overall increase in global average temperature, known as global warming (see also greenhouse effect). According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, established by the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Meteorological Organization in 1988, the long-term effects of global warming would include a general rise in sea level around the world, resulting in the inundation of low-lying coastal areas and the possible disappearance of some island states; ..."

Does everyone know that the United Nations was a creation of Joseph Stalin, designed to encourage one-word socialist domination?

They don't teach that in government school, do they.

Kyota was much more aggressive than Paris, had strong enforcement provisions, and nobody ever complied with it nor was it ever enforced. It illustrates why "International Law" only exists when a nation wants it to.

C'mon.....you can say it: they all lie.

C'mon.....you can say it: they all lie.

Of course they all lie. Japan, china, and India are building coal plants as fast as they can but proclaim they will be carbon free by last Thursday and the alarmists will praise Japan China and India and condemn the US. Money always wins and Climate Change is nothing more than an effort to cripple development with all the "solutions" guaranteed to deliver the costs to the doorsteps to the poor who cannot afford to pay for much more expensive energy.

So....Trump was correct in calling their bluff?

Yes he was correct in getting us out of Paris. He is incorrect on about a billion other things, but he was at lest right on that one.

Talk about coincidences!!

Look whose birthday it is today......Nazi theorist and environmentalism proponent, Ernst Haeckel.

Ernst Haeckel, in full Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel, (born Feb. 16, 1834, Potsdam, Prussia [Germany]—died Aug. 9, 1919, Jena, Ger.), German zoologist and evolutionist who was a strong proponent of Darwinism and who proposed new notions of the evolutionary descent of human beings. He declared that ontogeny (the embryology and development of the individual) briefly, and sometimes necessarily incompletely, recapitulated, or repeated, phylogeny (the developmental history of the species or race).

“In 1867 the German zoologist Ernst Haeckel coined the term 'ecology' and began to establish it as a scientific discipline dedicated to studying the interactions between organism and environment. Haeckel believed in nordic racial superiority,

...strenuously opposed race mixing and enthusiastically supported racial
eugenics. Haeckel contributed to that special variety of German
thought which served as the seed bed for National Socialism. He
became one of Germany's major ideologists for racism, nationalism
and imperialism…he fulminated in antisemitic tones…played a
key role in the establishment of the Nazi movement.”

Report: U.S. Led All Countries in Reducing CO2 Emissions in 2019

Nick Kangadis , @Kangadis44
February. 13. 2020

EXCERPT:

Despite being the scourge of the globalist community for daring to leave the Paris Climate Accord, the U.S. appears to be leading the way in reducing its "carbon footprint."

According to a report released on Tuesday by the International Energy Agency (IEA), "The United States saw the largest decline in energy-related CO2 emissions in 2019 on a country basis."

But, but...what about climate alarmist Greta Thunberg's outrage over countries not doing enough about climate change to make her existence a happy one? I only have one thing to say to that. How dare you?!

Here's what the IEA had to say about the science of the U.S. reduction in carbon emissions:

======================

Can any of the alarmist warmists address this inconvenient fact or curl up into a fetal ball instead?

So America who NEVER climbed aboard the Kyoto treaty and Paris accords bullcrap, yet outperforms many nations who dove in deep into the cesspool of socialist alarmist treaty/accord nonsense.
