She was supposed to do her job with out prejudice. If she could not do that, she should not have run for the job or resigned. Disobeying the law was not an option, and she should have know that as a government employee.

I'd like to see them charge her for her court fees and jail stay, it might hurt her more than the bars will.

Then she should do community service in gay support and education center for a few years. Learn to be around and get to know the people she was hurting.
