Too simplistic by half. Both parties "work against" teachers--the GOP by instilling too many regulations by legislation; the Dems doing it by dept regulation, ie, the Dept of Ed. Just different kinds of power control. Neither one listens to actual teachers. Both guilty.

SEVERAL places here give away free school supplies,clothes and backpacks. We don't ever need it but many places do give it away.

Having a couple of teachers on here, I would like to read their comments upon administrators and support staff numbers versus actual classroom teachers.

SEVERAL places here give away free school supplies,clothes and backpacks. We don't ever need it but many places do give it away.

Good. That might help lower the amount teachers are spending out of their own pockets for supplies.

The needs of the students come first. Most teachers spend a lot of their own money. Most cannot afford to.
