If the Celtics are to fulfill their quest for a second consecutive NBA championship, it appears they will have to go the distance without star forward and emotional leader Kevin Garnett.

Coach Doc Rivers said this morning that Garnett, who injured his knee Feb. 19 at Utah and has been in limbo since, will miss the second-seeded Celtics' first-round series against the Bulls, and that it is unlikely he would be available to play at all in the postseason, which begins Saturday.

So much for a repeat.

...and the B's won, 4-2.
but you know that, bastard. ;)

Such a good game!

There were two Canadians fans sitting in my section and they were getting hounded the entire game. Everyone was chanting "Your're gay, you're gay, you're gay, you're gay ... you're gay ... you're gay" while pointing at them. After the Habs tied it in the second they got up and left, never to be seen again. Prolly a wise decision.

There's gonna be some fights on Saturday, a lot of shit went down after the game ended.

I'm not going to have much of a voice in the morning. Thankfully, I'm off until Tuesday night.
