Kamala Harris Asked Why The United States Continues To Buy Oil From Russia ... Her Answer Is Even More Incoherent Than You Can Imagine

I said we import 700,000 bbls/day from Russia. That's just a plain fact.
No you didn't I quoted you verbatim. But the fact remains our oil companies have been doing oil business with Russia since the 90's. In total the petroleum imports from Russia never amounted to much of our imports or much of Russia's exports for that matter.

The profits on 700,000 bbl/day is huge money for Putin. It's how he is financing his invasion.

You keep evading that irrefutable fact.

Nice dodge. You said "We import 700,000 BBls a day, moron."
"From Russia" was the context of the discussion, you lying douchebag. We were discussing Russian imports.

700,000 bbl/day FROM RUSSIA was implicit in the conversation.

Militaries and war cost a lot more that the profits he saw from those sales.

Still the 700,000 was out of context. Close to a single day high of the total petroleum imported from Russia perhaps, but certainly not the average over months time. For example in Dec. 2021 we only imported and average of 90,000 barrels of oil a day, and 405,000 barrels day total petroleum. Compared to the 4,500.000 barrels a day we import from Canada or the 11,600,000 barrels a day we produce. It's really a drop in the bucket

No they don't, turd.

Russia exports about 5 million bbl/day. At $100/bbl, that's $500 million/day or about $180 billion/year.

Only a moron like you could believe that's not enough to fund his invasion of Ukraine.

The point is currently the US oil industry gets exponentially more oil from Canada than Russia. If fact for the past 25 years they have always gotten exponentially more oil from somewhere else besides Russia.
Oil we buy from Canada doesn't finance the Russian war machine.

What part of that don't you get?
We were flying into space with them too.
That was before they invaded Ukraine, moron.

Since biden got his ass elected, the price has zoomed to $100/bbl. That's why the invasion occured now. When the price $35/bbl there was no invasion, was there?

Is this stuff too complicated for you?

We've been buying Russian oil for 25 years. So if you bought gas in the past 25 year, you help Putin build his war machine, is that what you're trying to say? No of course not, you just want to blame Biden. Saul Biden.

Why are we still buying it?
"bp chair Helge Lund said: “Russia’s attack on Ukraine is an act of aggression which is having tragic consequences across the region. bp has operated in Russia for over 30 years, working with brilliant Russian colleagues. However, this military action represents a fundamental change. It has led the bp board to conclude, after a thorough process, that our involvement with Rosneft, a state-owned enterprise, simply cannot continue. We can no longer support bp representatives holding a role on the Rosneft board. The Rosneft holding is no longer aligned with bp’s business and strategy and it is now the board’s decision to exit bp’s shareholding in Rosneft. The bp board believes these decisions are in the best long-term interests of all our shareholders.”

Are they?

But when she almost won against Trump, it wasn‘t yet known how she spied on the opponent not only during the campaign, but once he became president so as to create the Russia hoax and oust the sitting president. That’s a big “no-no” to many people.
I have never followed that --- it seemed so obvious from the beginning that it was all made up by Democrats.

And apparently it was!
