JUST IN: Supreme Court Sets Unusual Opinion Release For Monday Morning – Signals Ruling on Trump Ballot Eligibility Imminent

The day before Super Tuesday. Police setting up baracades in front of the SCOTUS gives it away that this will be a Trump victory. I predict a 9-0 ruling or a 8-1 ruling with Sotomeyer dissenting. Tomorrow the liberal tears will flow. Prepare for epic meltdowns by the democrats and the leftist media.

My previous comments about your nonsense is in post #18 here:

"We gotta call this a keep post. How do you get this from what you supposedly observe?"

Now,
Immunity is not ruled on yet, but - we have an unsigned, 13-page unsigned opinion on ballot access

[The Supreme Court on Monday unanimously sided with Donald Trump, allowing the former president to remain on the election ballot and reversing a Colorado ruling that disqualified him from returning to office because of his conduct around the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The justices said the Constitution does not permit a single state to disqualify a presidential candidate from national office, ruling that such responsibility “rests with Congress and not the states.” The court warned of disruption and chaos if a candidate for nationwide office could be declared ineligible in some states, but not others, based on the same conduct.

“Nothing in the Constitution requires that we endure such chaos — arriving at any time or different times, up to and perhaps beyond the inauguration,” the court said in an unsigned, 13-page unsigned opinion.

...

Trump’s eligibility to return to office is not the only question before the justices that could affect the electability of the former president, who is facing four criminal indictments, two of them related to his efforts to block Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.

The Supreme Court next month will hear Trump’s challenge to a unanimous ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit that said he is not protected from criminal prosecution by presidential immunity. Their decision to take that case delayed Trump’s D.C. federal trial for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election results until at least late summer, just a few months before the general election.] -

I do not believe it will take long after the case is heard

But….but…but…fest fully underway.
Got him this time flushed once again
Next feelings freak fake will be Senate keeping him off ballot
They can’t win
They will wail and try to cheat
Even the dummies on the USSC found this idea too stupid and illegal to support

Yes, but as far as the Colorado ruling, 9-0 is a huge slapdown. Wonder what those Colorado justices that voted to remove Trump's name, are thinking right now? Had this been a partisan decision, then they would no doubt feel somewhat vindicated, but not with this result.

I believe you're a bit confused -- again. The Judges in Colorado ruled on a state issue. The Justices at the SCOTUS ruled on a federal constitutional issue. Judges often get overruled by the Justices.

You are arguing politics. The justices and the judges argue the law.

Read the decision in Donald Trump’s Colorado ballot case.

The long held tradition of lib loon”you read it wrong”

As we have said from the beginning, and as Republicans have threatened , a ruling allowing states to unilaterally remove candidate from the ballot could easily be abused.

Red states could remove Biden on bullshit charges and blues states could remove Trump.

That’s a can of worm the SCOTUS wanted no part of.

You did. If it was one way. Like so many of your agendas.
