Just Another Hypocrite?

Obama has helped me realize something very important. My children attend Private Schools because I believe they get a better education. Am I making the right decision? I took this question to heart when Obama was elected President. Would he send his own kids to Public or Private Schools? Surely, he would lead by example. Sure enough, he made the same decision that I made. Clearly, Private schools are better.

oh come onnnnnn xsisted, expect better than that gripe from you....

no president in this day and age should send their kids to public school in DC for merely security reasons....there was no choice for Obama to make on sending his girls to public school and there should not have been....especially for obama who is hated by so many that probably wouldn't hesitate to kill him or his children or kidnap them....or burn them on a cross....

And you wouldn't send your daughters to public school either if you were president even if the public schools provided a great education, and under those circumstances....

bitch about what's worth bitching about X, but this little rant anin't one of them that's worth mouthing in my opinion!

Whew! hahahahahaha! Did I get that all out without losing it? yeah, i think i did! lollollol

For at least a year, Obama has been talking about sending troops to Afghanistan and taking them out of Iraq.

There is no hypocrisy in what he was telling people.

I happen to differ with him on Afghanistan, and did a year ago as well.

really....how much was your check for......

You want to play semantics? Be my guess.

However, the money from Obama's bill will not go only towards helping Americans who need it but creating/saving jobs.

For one, We'll see how well the "stimulus for the people" works. Your rhetoric jumps right out of the Obama Groupy Training Manual.:lol::lol::lol:

Two, it's got nothing to do with being cute. We'll also see how long it takes Obama to pull all troops from Iraq in the 1st 16 months of office as promised.

As far as reading, I'm sure you've read the stimulus package in full and completely understand where every dime is going. Because it sure isn't going to the American people. Also, I'm sure you read the entire Bush stimlus package in full to understand the difference in the two. Gosh, I'm chatting with a genius...:cuckoo:

Ive determined that most people are hypocrites. Not saying that they are justified in being so and President Obama less than others. But most people are. And they will be until they are perfected.

I think everyone is over looking WHY the American people are unemployed.

1. The government has passed bills making it legal to Out Source our Jobs and In Source Cheap Labor. Big businesses move their manufacturing plants to foreign countries. They open up their plants with money they made off the American markets, they take with them the technology developed in America by Americans. They close their plants in the U.S. and cry broke and get in line for the spending welfare package. All the while they leave their foreign plants open and ship their inferior products back to America for Americans to buy.

2. The banks funds the world market place and make bad investments and when they fail they fall back on the American people to bail them out. The government deregulated the banking system so, that it's legal for them to commit highway robbery. We have more houses than we need because they thought Amnesty was going to be voted in. So, everyone is upside down and literally screwed in the real estate market.

3. The government has allowed 20 million illegal aliens to invade our country to rape, rob and pillage anything they can get their hands on. The schools are broke and over crowed. The Emergency Rooms an hospitals are broke, the welfare system is drained, Medicare is attacked. The American taxpayers are left footing the bill for millions of illegal aliens and their Anchor Babies sucking up social sevices. The illegal aliens are breeding like there is no tomorrow.

Now, their Anchor Babies are breeding and dropping out of high school and depending on the welfare system. The gangs in America are growing leaps and bounds. Home burglary are predicted to skyrocket. The cost to to incarcerate illegal aliens is mind boggling and there seems to be, no end in site. If the illegal aliens are given amnesty the cost are predicted to Triple.

This very instant the politicians are giving money away like drunken sailors. We borrow it from countries like China to give away in the form of Foreign Aid and special needs programs, like the approved and partly funded 1.4 billion dollars to Mexico to fight the drug cartels.

4. Americans are all fighting amongst each other and ignoring the fact that it's the politicians that got us in this mess in the first place. Now, the politicians are saying, "Give us more money and we'll fix your problems."

5. No one in America has a secure job as long as NAFTA and CAFTA exists, and Out sourcing of our jobs is legal. The stimulus package is a short term fix. There will be very few permanent jobs created out of it, 53% of the funds won't be realized until 2011. When the money dries up the jobs will dry up and unemployment will skyrocket again.

A country that doesn't sew or harvest is headed towards disaster and the government has all but killed the textile industry and working on killing the farmer. If the American people don't wake up and vote the current politicians out of office, they'll drag us down to poverty levels. Then socialism will look mighty good to the once proud Americans living in 3rd World status. The rest of the world will be laughing at us, asking us, how does it feel to want?

He's not a hypocrite. Hypocrites aren't intentionally obnoxious, for the most part.

He's just a liar. He'll say anything he has to to get his way.

It's good to know I'm not the only one noticing the hypocricy. I made up my mind, when Obama was elected, to give him a chance to see what good he can do. So far, in my honest opinion, I can't stand the decisions he's making, or allowing Congress to make.

He spoke throughout his campaign about increasing troop level in Afghanistan and taking the troops out of Iraq.

Furthermore, Bush's bailout was for the banks, Obama's was for the American people.

So epic fail on your part.

Didn't Obama vote YES (or was it present?) on the bank handout?

What American people? I'm not getting anything....where's mine? I pay more taxes than most on here, so where's my share? I don't drive graders, and use shovels or paint road stripes so no job there for me...

Oh ok, that's right...Obama's our night in shining armor:cuckoo:

Let's not forget that Obama consistently claimed that the surge of troops in Iraq would not work, and then conveniently forgot to admit he was wrong. Looks like he's just as bad as admitting mistakes as Bush was.

There's more pork in this stimulus than a Greek BBQ. Obama's signing a 900 billion dollar stimulus and sending 400-800 to the American people. Bush signed over 700 billion and send 1200 to the people last year. You all bitched about Bush increasing government spending and cutting taxes, now it's all "change we can believe in" when Obama does it. Liberal are so full of double-standards that they'll crap themselves if they bend over.

Pelosi concerned about a Murtha probe - John Bresnahan - Politico.com

Bullshit. He didn't conveniently forget anything. O'Reilly pressed him and he refused to admit he was wrong. He knew it he just refused to admit it. Hmm, wonder if this is a learned or genetic character flaw.

Exactly. In 2011 he'll have another save-the-day plan and the ninnies may well vote him in again. Then he can finish implementation of his socialistic agenda.

Robert is correct when he says that Obama told us he'd be committing more troops to Afghanistan.

Personally I think that's a waste of time, too, but he DID tell us he'd do that.

And the CLOCK IS TICKING on him getting the troops out of Iraq, as he promised.

As to this bailout?

Well I fail to see how it is all that different that Bush II's bailout.

It gives crumbs to the people but mostly its all about taking on all that TOXIC DEBT to save the banks just like Bush II's bailout was.

Will it save our system?

I don't know...am I and the rest of the american people really part of the system, or is the system just all about the banking and financial community?

Fair enough, my choice of events may have been misguided, but it still doesn't change the fact that Obama has been a hypocrite for things he's promised. And as far as stupid decisions, he's definately "more of the same" and not "change we can believe in"...IMO

i believe the word hypocrite is often missused......a hypocrit would be telling everyone to do something then not doing the same thing yourself.....

like chastising the auto dealers for flying in private jets to ask for money.......then flying to the congressional chambers in private jets to vote yourself a raise.....

or telling the american public that we all need to sacrifce then flying to hawaii for a vacation.....

i guess it would depend on the issue.....

he didn't lie about sending troops to afganistan he said he would and he did......but he also said that bush should not act unilatterally and should seek congressional un and world approval before taking action....

he didn't lie about closing gitmo .... but he now says the prisoners in jails in afganistan don't have any legal standing.....guess where all the gitmo guys are going.....

he will do what ever politician does.....he will keep his promiseand spin the deatils to pretty much end up where he started.....

Bush's bailout? Obama's bailout?

Let's get real, folks. They were BOTH Pelosi/Reid's bailouts. Obama supported both. Bush supported the first, but I have no idea how he felt about this latest one (and don't care).

Also, Robert, "Bush's bailout" was to save people's homes, if you remember correctly. Yes, it was given without oversight, but do you remember who wanted oversight? It wasn't Democrats, it wasn't Obama. It was the Republicans who voted to stop that bill. Get your head out of your ass, and stop looking like a blind partisan fool.
