Of course it is. Public health is the government's job. If someone is lying in such a way to promote a death-causing epidemic, it is the government's job to point that out.

It is the same government that has been by far the most prolific source of harmful lies and misinformation that has been seeking the power to label the truth as “lies and misinformation” and on that basis, to censor it.

The #CoronaHoax2020 is a perfect example. Government created a huge fake “crisis” out of a hyperbolized cold/flu outbreak, and used it as an excuse to seize and abuse unprecedented illegitimate power, to our great harm. And too many were stupid enough to fall for the hoax completely.

THAT is why government should not get involved. The government gets it wrong just as often as the individual and their views are just as biased as anyone else's.

And no, I don't believe in the PC "all viewpoints are equally valid" nonsense. Antivaxxer beliefs are dishonest and stupid, and it's good to point that out, even if it does trigger people.

The government and Democrats initially touted the vaccine as a preventative. This turned out not to be true as the vaxxed started contracting Covid anyway.

So they changed the narrative to "The vaccine will prevent you from contracting it again." This also turned out not to be true as some that were vaxxed - as already mentioned - got infected anyway and then later contracted it again.

So the narrative changed again and they were forced to finally settle on "The vaccine alleviates symptoms and renders death less likely."

This much appears to be true but the point is, for two years, the government pushed a vaccine claiming it could do things it in fact could not, and did not do. Why? Because they didn't know.

They had no fucking idea what was true or not true about Covid or the vaccine but they pushed it anyway.

Pointing out that someone is lying is not censoring them. Free speech cuts all ways.

Why should I trust an entity that lies as much as anyone else to tell me what are lies and what are not? Understand?
