On the big blue marble
As those of you who have read some of my posts and threads on this forum know, I am not a fan of cops. As a matter-of-fact, I disdain the profession in its current form. But I won't be going into that in this thread. This thread is dedicated to the law profession and its many, many, many crooked judges, prosecutors and other low lifes who have none to little interest in justice. This thread is to expose them and call them out for their criminal behavior. I am willing to debate any lawyer one on one concerning his profession and its validity.

Putting a black dress on a lawyer and calling him a "judge" doesn't change the fact that he is still just a lawyer.

Here's the first of many to come low life, dress wearing, chickenshit, sonofabitches for you all to ponder:

Judge Sentenced To 28 Years For Selling ‘Kids For Cash’ To Prisons
Now that Ciaverella has been locked up, that solves one problem, but raises an important question that few are asking: was this an isolated incident, or are there more just like him who have made similar deals with prisons across the United States.

A Pennsylvania judge in Pennsylvania was just sentenced to 28 years in prison for selling “kids-for-cash.”

The bribery scandal made headlines when Former Luzerne County Judge Mark Ciavarella Jr. was alleged to have taking $1 million in bribes from juvenile detention centers to fill their cells with children who came before him in court.

The Associated Press says the following:

The legal profession is like any other profession, you have the good, the bad and the ugly

I know that many lawyers live by the motto: I am the best money can buy for representation to not fight for your innocence...

The legal profession is like any other profession, you have the good, the bad and the ugly
The unwritten definition of a good lawyer is "one who can win most cases." This is usually accomplished by manipulation, misrepresentation and an entire laundry list of behaviors that often border on the unethical. Morality and justice are not in the equation.
When lawyers grow up, they become judges. As judges they are supposed to be unbiased and consider all facts presented to them with an open and fair mind. Tell me, how can someone who has spent 20 years as an ambulance chaser and a distorter of facts possibly going to be able to set aside his emotions and leanings and become a man of morals and righteousness by simply putting on a dress and sitting at a 'bench'?

Well my husband is an attorney and you're mistaken if you think they are all bad.

What area of law does your husband practice and for how long has he practiced law?
Maybe if he is in contract law he might be less deviant than a lawyer who practices criminal law, but, none the less, the entire profession is based in manipulation and deception. True justice and fairness is rarely considered in law. If your husband is an honest man he will agree with that.

If you really want to piss me off, mess with people who can't defend themselves against your abuse. Rather the victims are children, handicapped, aged or just weak...

Corrupt Judges. Wall of Shame. Michigan Judge Lisa Gorcyca v. Children

Published on Jul 10, 2015
A Michigan lawyer has filed a writ of habeas corpus on behalf of three children placed in a juvenile facility by a judge who claimed they had been brainwashed in a case that rivaled the worst example of parental alienation she had ever seen.

He's the firm manager where we live, they have offices in six major cities so he's in charge of associates who practice all types of law. But when he was an associate he focused on contract and patent law. He's rarely in the courtroom these days unless it's requested by the firm or a client

The thing about lawyers is people love to bash and hate on them...until they need one and then invariably I get woke up at all times of the night with phone calls from them when they do

Most people do not know law or how to present themselves or their needs to a court. It is because of this you get woke up at all times of the night (why doesn't the firm have an answering service?). Law is written in what many call "legalese" and is confusing to those who have not studied law. I often wondered (a long time ago) why so much law is written in Latin, when Latin is not the native language of people in the U.S. or Britain. Then it occurred to me: Law is written in a language that is not easily understood by the common person to give it validity; to make it appear to be something much more important than it is; to make confused and befuddled lawyers appear more necessary than they actually are.

Notorious Ex-Judge Chris Dupuy Free After Charges Dismissed

Prosecutors allege the 44-year-old Dupuy, a former Galveston County judge who quit the bench in 2013 after pleading guilty to perjury and abuse of office, posted the ads in late 2014. They included the phone number and photos of an ex-girlfriend's face and breasts, and the number of a woman who rejected his advances. The ads included language like "VERY FETISH FRIENDLY" and a stated fee of $70 per half-hour.

Prosecutors had charged Dupuy under the state's online impersonation law, which essentially bars using another person's name or persona "with the intent to harm, defraud, intimidate, or threaten any person."

Dupuy's lawyers argued that the law is too vague, and Visiting Harris County District Judge Ryan Patrick agreed.

A little levity in an otherwise very serious topic.
The comedic video at the end of this post is actual transcript from an actual court hearing (State of Georgia v Denver Fenton Allen). The link prior to the video is a report on the admonishment the judge received for his unethical actions on the bench. Watching the video, it is quite easy to see why the judge would lose his cool, but, his job is to always maintain propriety.

So it doesn't appear my focus is solely on crooked, immoral, judges, here is a prostitutor, er, prosecutor, for you:

Gwinnett prosecutor arrested in huge DeKalb prostitution bust

Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney Christopher Quinn is facing charges related to a prostitution bust that resulted in 56 arrests.

Police say a high-end escort service dubbed “Gold Club” was operating out of an apartment across the street from the Dunwoody police station. A second escort service known as “Lipstick and Shoes” was allegedly housed in another Dunwoody apartment complex and two apartment complexes in Atlanta, police said Wednesday.

Quinn, 46, of Alpharetta, turned himself in Tuesday and has been charged with pandering and violation of Georgia’s felony racketeering statute.

Prosecutor Arrested for Forging Judges' Signature, Spying on Love Interest
By Casey C. Sullivan, Esq. on November 30, 2016 11:57 AM
A prosecutor in the Brooklyn district attorney's office was arrested on Monday. Her crime? Love.

Well, love, plus allegedly forging judges' signatures to fake their approval of an illegal wiretap she used to spy on a police detective and a fellow prosecutor as part of a messy "love triangle gone wrong."

Prosecutor arrested after dropping joint in court

NEW ORLEANS (RNN) – A New Orleans assistant city attorney must've not done a good job of checking his pockets before heading to court.

According to media reports, a marijuana joint fell out of prosecutor Jason Cantrell's pocket onto the courtroom floor in front of police officers in Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.

People who witnessed the scene said the two officers glanced at the joint, and then exchanged a baffled look before making one of the, what many would call, world's easiest drug busts.

The officers reportedly laughed as they escorted Cantrell, 43, out of the courtroom and wrote him a summons for simple possession of marijuana.

Cantrell's wife, LaToya, is currently a candidate for New Orleans City Council.

One of my favorite quotes from a book I once read:

It is the lawyers who run our civilization for us -- our governments, our business, our private lives. Most legislators are lawyers; they make our laws. Most presidents, governors, commissioners, along with their advisers and brain-trusters are lawyers; they administer our laws. All the judges are lawyers; they interpret and enforce our laws. There is no separation of powers where the lawyers are concerned. There is only a concentration of all government power -- in the lawyers.

Wow! I don't need to add a quote for this one, this judge said it all.

Drunken judge who sucker-punched Legal Aid lawyer charged with misdemeanor assault, harassment

The parole judge arrested for allegedly slugging a Legal Aid attorney after a party was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor assault and harassment.

Robert Beltrani, 53, was before a Manhattan Criminal Court judge for the first time since the boozy Oct. 20 incident on W. 18th St. in Chelsea.

He didn’t remain at the scene, authorities said, and later received a desk appearance ticket ordering him to appear in court Tuesday.

Beltrani stayed mum as he left the courthouse with his attorney Daniel Ollen and an order of protection in favor of Sam Roberts, the alleged sucker-punch victim.

According to the New York Daily News, the 54-year-old became a person of interest following a drug trafficking investigation of an airplane registered in the United States.

Lawyer arrested, charged with stealing settlement from client whose son died

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. —

State police arrested lawyer Danny Butler, 70, Wednesday, charging him with theft. A Hardin County grand jury had indicted the Greensburg lawyer after reviewing evidence related to Butler’s mishandling of client funds and escrow accounts.

The charges are related to a 2010 case involving a wrongful death lawsuit. Wanda Brewer’s son, Dana, who was mentally handicapped attended Hardin County’s Communicare part time. Family alleged he choked and died when he was left unsupervised.

Brewer told WLKY she chose Butler as her lawyer because friends and family had previously worked with him and been pleased with the results.

"I thought he would be more honest and dependable than we found him to be," she said.
