Fort Myers lawyer arrested for kidnapping, assault

A Fort Myers criminal defense attorney was arrested Tuesday by the Fort Myers Police Department.

David Brener was booked into Lee County Jail just after 5 p.m. on charges of kidnapping-false imprisonment, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (without intent to kill) and battery, according to the Lee County Sheriff's website.

A Fort Myers police spokesman confirmed the arrest Tuesday night. Details on the arrest were not available Tuesday.

Bond has not been set.

According to a biographical page on his website, Brener has practiced criminal defense for over 28 years.

This is not the first time Brener has been arrested. In November of 2014 he was arrested for battery by police for punching a man at the Hideaway Sports Bar on Dean Street in Fort Myers. Court records showed Brener pleaded not guilty in that case. In 2012, Brener was arrested for a misdemeanor domestic violence battery, to which he pleaded not guilty as well.

SEE IT: Disturbing video emerges of Ohio lawyer hypnotizing clients for his own sexual pleasure

An extremely creepy video has emerged of Ohio lawyer Michael Fine, 59, hypnotizing female clients in his office for his own sexual pleasures.

In November 2014, a woman entered Fine’s Ohio office with a hidden camera. Sheffield police set up a sting operation after the female claimed that the lawyer attempted to relax her before meetings by using hypnosis, Fox 8 reports. The victim also said she noticed her clothes were disheveled following the relaxation.

In September 2016, the attorney pleaded guilty to putting five other women in similar trances.

As those of you who have read some of my posts and threads on this forum know, I am not a fan of cops. As a matter-of-fact, I disdain the profession in its current form. But I won't be going into that in this thread. This thread is dedicated to the law profession and its many, many, many crooked judges, prosecutors and other low lifes who have none to little interest in justice. This thread is to expose them and call them out for their criminal behavior. I am willing to debate any lawyer one on one concerning his profession and its validity.

Putting a black dress on a lawyer and calling him a "judge" doesn't change the fact that he is still just a lawyer.

Here's the first of many to come low life, dress wearing, chickenshit, sonofabitches for you all to ponder:

Judge Sentenced To 28 Years For Selling ‘Kids For Cash’ To Prisons
Now that Ciaverella has been locked up, that solves one problem, but raises an important question that few are asking: was this an isolated incident, or are there more just like him who have made similar deals with prisons across the United States.

A Pennsylvania judge in Pennsylvania was just sentenced to 28 years in prison for selling “kids-for-cash.”

The bribery scandal made headlines when Former Luzerne County Judge Mark Ciavarella Jr. was alleged to have taking $1 million in bribes from juvenile detention centers to fill their cells with children who came before him in court.

The Associated Press says the following:

Judge Sentenced To 28 Years For Selling ‘Kids For Cash’ To Prisons

Said Judge was brought to justice by police and prosecutors and sentenced by a judge to prison. There are more good than bad in all three professions as can be said in any field of work.

True, this judge was brought to justice (or a semblance thereof). But, just because other lawyers did the court work, it doesn't make the profession honorable. At its very roots, and all through its core, and extending into its fruit, the law profession is made up of dishonesty and abuse. If every lawyer in the world died today, tomorrow the people would have so much freedom they wouldn't know how to act.

Social Security Disability Judge Got $600,000 in Pay and Three Raises after Drunkenly Groping Colleagues

He fought to keep his job, claiming his alcoholism was a disability the SSA should accommodate. In 2012, a security guard working in the Scranton, Pa., Social Security disability office went to police with a harrowing tale. One of the judges there, Sridhar Boini, had grabbed her by the arm, bruising her, and then groped her chest and forced a boozy kiss on her mouth, she said. But police were hardly surprised when the woman filed a report about the assault. Just a year earlier, another woman who worked at the same disability office told them that Boini had fondled her breasts at work, and gestured obscenely at her with his mouth and tongue.

Bronx DA Candidate at Center of Controversial Rikers Case

The leading candidate for Bronx district attorney has been receiving plenty of criticism over the circumstances of her nomination. Now, NY1 has learned that Darcel Clark played a previously undisclosed role in the case of Kalief Browder, a Bronx youth who committed suicide earlier this year after he had been held at Rikers Island for three years without trial.

Charges were ultimately dropped against Browder and his court record sealed, but documents obtained by NY1 show Clark was the presiding judge for six of Browder’s court dates. That includes February 17, 2012, when the case was delayed because the prosecutor assigned to it was on vacation; the next day, Browder attempted suicide in his jail cell.

I would hazard to guess that one would be more likely to find an honest thief than an honest lawyer.

Imagine standing next to a crooked lawyer, before a crooked judge and, at the next table, another crooked lawyer/prosecutor. It is a train wreck fixing to happen and you have to ride it out to its bloody end. Sad thing is, you will be the only one left bleeding.

The Judiciary Report

The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke

Justice is supposed to be blind. Judges aren't supposed to be when it comes to justice. This site provides a stunning, candid look at the judiciary and why you may not get your day in court. When one thinks of court, one thinks of justice. The famous picture of the lady with the blindfold covering one eye - but that blind fold is starting to look more like an eye patch on a pirate, as many Americans and foreigners as well are being robbed of their day in court.

And to the ones who do actually get their day in court, their rights are being stepped on by judges willfully violating their oath of office. Justice is not being served in an astonishing number of cases, with verdicts leaving the public scratching their heads - and not because of dandruff.

There is more to this story than this article gives. According to the ''eye witness'' (who, in this articles, claims she testified out of fear and intimidation by detectives) also testified that her vision was to poor to identify the killer (her vision was tested at 20/200, legally blind) and the prosecutor knew this. Information he did not share with the defendants attorney. She further stated the prosecutor 'scripted' her testimony.
This is the reason I posted this article in this thread: The prosecutors (lawyers) misconduct. I would not be surprised at all to learn the judge was involved also. You see, judges, prosecutors and cops all feed from the same trough (taxes) and they all have a vested interest in not serving justice, but serving ''just us''.

Man convicted in 1989 Portland murder out on bail

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — A 44 year-old man, sentenced to 70 years in prison for murder is out of jail after making bail.

Thursday evening, family and friends of Anthony Sanborn greeted him with hugs as he walked out of the Cumberland County Jail. He doesn't have to go back to prison, at least for now.

Bail was set for Sanborn, convicted of a brutal murder in Portland in 1989, earlier that day.

The ruling came after a hearing that included stunning developments, a recanted statement from a star witness and plenty of courtroom drama. All surrounding a man who spent nearly three decades in prison.

A black dress does not make a lawyer "honorable", nor worthy of the title "Your Honor". It just makes him a crossdressing lawyer and we all know how "honorable" the profession of lawyering is.

WATCH: Michigan Judge Finds Attorney in Contempt for Live Streaming Trial already being Live Streamed

Two television news cameras were live streaming the ridiculous trial of a man cited for warming up his car in the driveway of his Michigan home during subfreezing temperatures when the judge turned to the defense and asked if they were live streaming.

Attorney Nicholas Somberg acknowledged that his associate sitting behind him was live streaming, but had only done so after asking the local media if it was permissible.

But Roseville District Judge Marco Santia was infuriated that Somberg did not fill out a permission slip approved by him and ruled him in contempt of court.

Racist Judge Arrested For Beating a Mentally Disabled Man While Yelling “Run, N*****, Run”

Canton, MS– Judge Bill Weisenberger has finally been arrested for allegedly assaulting a mentally disabled man while screaming racial slurs at him in May of last year. Weisenberger turned himself in on Thursday but was released on a $10,000 bond.

“Judge William Weisenberger, Sr., on or about May 8, 2014, in Madison County, Mississipi, and within the jurisdiction of this court, did purposely, knowingly, willfully, unlawfully and feloniously cause bodily injury to James Rivers, a vulnerable person… by striking him in the head,” the indictment reads.

His victim, 20-year-old Eric Rivers, was at a flea market where Weisenberger was working security, offering to help vendors load and unload their products to try to earn money to buy a bicycle.

Divorce case stirs ethics allegations about judge

This is not a story about a dog or a divorce, but that's where it begins.

After Mark Dixon and his ex-wife, Carol Johnson, terminated their marriage in late 2009, they got into a custody dispute over Shiloh, an Australian shepherd.

On Dec. 2 of that year, Dixon was pulled over by three plainclothes Pinal County sheriff's deputies with semiautomatic weapons, according to the incident report and court records.

Dixon alleges he was ordered to surrender the dog or face immediate arrest, so he acquiesced. A civil complaint he filed in federal court against a group of Pinal County deputies and Dixon's ex-wife says he argued that the disagreement with his wife was a civil matter and that deputies "did knowingly and willingly criminally extort property" by threatening arrest if he did not give up the dog. His lawsuit accused Pinal County officials of conspiracy.

In a court motion, Dixon asserted that his ex-wife, who then worked for a credit union, had assisted Pinal County Superior Court Judge William J. "Bill" O'Neil in obtaining a $300,000 loan prior to the canine-custody dispute.

Retired Arizona Judge Reveals Corruption in Legal System

Health Impact News Editor Comments

Justice John F. Molloy was an attorney in Arizona who went on to serve as a judge on the Arizona Superior Court bench. He is probably best known for his time serving as Chief Justice to Court of Appeals for the State of Arizona, where he authored the famous Miranda decision that was subsequently appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court and overturned, resulting in what is known today as the “Miranda Rights” which law enforcement now quotes to suspected criminals upon arrest.

Judge Molloy wrote a book that was published in 2004 a few years before he died in 2008. He was apparently suffering from cancer at the time, and perhaps knew his remaining time on earth was short. The title of the book is: The Fraternity: Lawyers and Judges in Collusion, published by Paragon House.

An excerpt from the book has been published and copied in many places on the Internet today, reprinted in accordance with the “fair use” provision of Title 17 U.S.C. § 107. It is an amazing expose on just how corrupt the American Judicial System is today, and it perhaps gives us a better understanding on how so many judges in family or juvenile courts across the United States are able to successfully remove children from the custody of their parents in medical kidnapping cases.

Legally blind does not mean blind. My uncle was very close to it most of his life (actually was, in one eye)...he served in the Army, qualified "expert" with a rifle, and has been a competitive shooter since he was twelve. He drove tractor-trailers, and passed a DOT physical with no trouble, as long as he wore his glasses.
