Perhaps this is just a reflexion of American society. Why should anyone be honest when our press lies for Democrats and the president feels that lying is an advantage. Liberals as a whole, really don't care if they're being lied to. All that matters is that they win. The SOTU address proved that. Winning is everything. You could be a total screw up and still win. That's what's important.
I think this uproar over deflategate is so hypocritical. Journalists have been cheating for the Democrats for decades, and now they feel that it's wrong for Brady to get the equipment manager to take a couple of lbs out of a football.
One of my pet-peeves has always been the uneven media coverage since the 2000 election. It's crystal clear that the media literally props up Democrats and tears down Republicans. What right do they have to criticize somebody for cheating when they do it every time they report a story? Nothing they report can be trusted these days.

What you don't understand is that the core of the Republican party, the establishment of the Republican party had sold out to the Globalists A LONG TIME AGO. If you did your own research, you would understand that. The American military is a sub-contractor for the UN and the CFR policies only at this point. When they have major goals that need attending to, THEN, and only then, will the Republicans be allowed to take the executive branch. Otherwise, the executive branch is reserved for the Democrats to integrate the nation into the global socialist economic structure.
The international media cartel is there tobrainwashconvince the public that this is the right course of action. (See UN Agenda 21) I commend your strong mind and will power to see through this conditioning. You will note, even the so called right wing talk radio, as free as it seems to be, is not entirely immune to the power of CFR influence. The corporate globalist influence of Murdoch's News Corp. interest and Romney's globalist interests pervade even there.

Generally, the MSM doesn't expose anyone. If it gets into the MSM, you can bet it was meant to be there. The NFL "scandal" was probably a set up BY the NFL. You can bet the officials were in on the scam. It was probably a paradigm meant to get all non football fans that don't regularly follow the game interested in the Super Bowl. Now everyone knows who to cheer for. The whole country knows who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.
The NFL is an Entertainment Industry and a Business first and foremost. You don't leave a $9 billion dollar a year industry that shares revenue among all the teams up to chance. Anything you can do to boost viewer ratings you do. And what they have done with this scandal? Making the officials look the other way on this? There is nothing illegal about it. They can do anything they want. It is their business, it is their rules.

Hmm, a large majority of the opinions/stories I've seen on Deflategate have been by sportswriters, who don't get involved in political journalism at all.

I don't trust people that are always accusing others of cheating. From years of running sports leagues, I've found the loudest screamers to often be the biggest cheaters. Look what happened in the last election. Prior to election day there constant reports of voting machines erring in favor of the Democrats, including in my bluer-than-blue state of MD. Come election day the Republican wins the governor's race handily!!! So when you hear that Dems are cheating, it'd be wise to investigate those making the charge. How do we know the Reps didn't win MD by cheating?. IMO, the Reps are either crying "wolf" or trying to deflect attention from their own cheating. As far as I can tell, there's never been a confirmed instance of voting machines changing votes that didn't involve voter error. The Reps are rigging elections just the way they've rigged Congressional districts. How else do you explain why they have a majority in the House despite the Dems out polling the the Reps by MILLIONS?!?!Because the same thing happened this last election. It was reported that Republican votes kept changing to Democrat votes. The difference this time is it didn't make enough of a difference.
