McCain used to come on Jon Stewart's show when he was a "maverick", then he stopped going on when it became politically inexpedient and he wanted to run for president in 2008. kinda tells ya all ya need to know!

I think the president is preparing the country for John McCain’s vast role in deep state via declassified documents that will be coming.
