John McCain 'doesn't understand' enhanced interrogation or torture

Santorum is right when saying Mccain doesn't know what he is talking about, it is either that or Mccain is lying. Mcain says "detainees will say anything to get enhanced interrogations to stop," on the face that might be true but that is not how it works making Mcains statement misleading and untrue. The way enhanced interrogations works is when detainees are being subjected to enhanced interrogations like water boarding, the detainee is asked a series of questions by interrogators who already know the correct answers and enhanced interrogations do not stop until the answers given by the detainee are correct. As a side note this is done to ensure that the detainee is telling the truth to the best of his or her knowledge and is being cooperative to the interrogators. There is no way that a detainee can make up things to get enhanced interogations to stop making Mcain's statement untrue. To reiterate Mccain is the one that doesn't know what is talking about. Yes, Mccain went through the old and wrong way to be enhanced interrogated back in the 70's but that is not the way it is done by professionals today. People need to realize this! Mccain owes the people of this country an apology for misleading them!
