Kerry repeated what the veterans had told him, but of course some would prefer to believe that things like Kerry told the Congress never happen, they know there was no My Lai, no incidents of any type that Kerry talked about.
Kerry had the guts to stand up and tell America and the Congress what he had heard and Kerry probably believed those kinds of things did indeed happen, and so do I.
Maybe with a Kerry as Secretary of State we might not have repeated Vietnam in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Our history is replete with our wars, but seldom are those quiet little diplomatic endeavors that removed the need for a war mentioned. But because of those quiet little diplomatic endeavors many lives that might have been cut short survived to an old age. Never mind the money.
