You claim Corsi is a liar? Prove it or at least bother to mention what you think is a lie. I am sure there were atrocities committed in Vietnam, but Kerry aired them while American soldiers were still being killed in country. That is called aiding and abetting the enemy in the real world.

So, testifying about what soldiers who served in combat are saying is a crime? What are soldiers saying now about Afghanistan?

He was a sailor; not a soldier and he did not serve (to the extent that he did) with soldiers. He testified that most of the tales he told Congress were the verified testimony of soldiers' Vietnam combat experiences from the so called "Winter Soldier Investigation". Many of these "soldiers in combat" had never been to Vietnam and/or never been in combat or a combat unit, been given combat assignments, or had a combat related MOS.
No "war crime" he related was ever proven true. The investigation is a matter or record.

Here we go again. Kerry was guilty of treason when he met with the V.C. representatives in Paris when he was "on vacation" while still a member of the Navy Reserves. It's amazing what you can get away with when the mainstream media is on your side. The "Winter Soldiers" pot party made no effort to distinguish between members of the Military and Veterans and riff-raff off the streets who pretended to be "Soldiers". Kerrry made no effort to check his own freaking story when he related tails of atrocities allegedly committed by fellow members of the Military and which he had no personal knowledge having spent less than a year in harms way. His own account of having "spent Christmas" on the Cambodian border was laughed out of Washington.

Left wingers were spitting on the likes of John Kerry and now that they have seen the light of a socialist republik under Barry Hussein they defend Kerry. The thing about the Silver Star is that Kerry used it in his campaign so the award is open to scrutiny. It's probable that the Navy approved every award recommended by a commanding officer and that's fine under the mess that Vietnam became. The problem is that Kerry was the commanding officer and his little essay recommending himself for his "heroism" really doesn't live up to the standards of the Silver Star award. According to his own account he jumped off his Swift Boat and chased an unarmed teenage V.C. who had fired a rocket at the boat and he killed the kid. Case closed. At least one of his three (get three Hearts and you are outta town) Purple Hearts was self inflicted in violation of the standards. It's assumed that recommendations from a commanding officer were honorable but what if they were self recommended and they were far from honorable? Kerry allegedly threw a grenade into a cache of V.C. rice and got a splinter of rice or grenade in his ass when he failed to duck. It doesn't qualify for a Purple Heart and it is an insult to all the Veterans who were awarded the Heart for real injuries. His other Heart happened when he received a splinter in his finger that didn't even require a band aid when a floating mine went off.

I've read the citations and don't understand why anyone would think he earned them. Unearned medals don't impress me but I guess there's a sucker born every minute. In any case it is not his alledged military service that he is hated for. It's his long list of disservice afterwards that really turn the stomach (although not unexpected from someone who uses his politics rather than valor to get medals).
