When are these fundamentalist-whackos gonna GET IT?....that their "icons" were merely blood-&-guts human-beings, and are as open to satire, as anyone-else!!

How ironic they're so fearful of comedy (that typically dispenses with much-more Truth than their various "good books")....yet, they'll bow-and-scrape-to and defend garden-variety/ca$h-grabbin' con-men (like Pat Robertson).

Just weeks after Comedy Central executives censored a program because of its depiction of Muhammad, the network has announced it has a new cartoon series in development that could not be more disrespectful of Christianity. Entitled "JC", the show will depict Jesus living in contemporary New York City trying to "escape his father’s enormous shadow." According to Comedy Central, God is "an apathetic man who would rather play video games than listen to his son talk about his new life."

Once again, while Islam and other faiths are treated carefully and respectfully by the media and Hollywood elite, the Judeo-Christian heritage is open for mockery and ridicule. The Media Research Center is launching a citizen petition to expose this double standard and call on Comedy Central and its parent company Viacom to stop this blatant anti-Christian attack. Please sign the petition today and stand against this egregious double standard.

Isn't it interesting the way you have no problem with the double standard of being afraid to bash Muhammad, but have no problem with them bashing Jesus and Moses.

I don't believe Baptists ever put out a fatwah on people making fun of Pat.

Your link, and you, implied they want to end bashing against Jesus. What they want to end is the double standard, and allow all religious leaders to be bashed equally.

....At least, not in public.....Pat's preference.....

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight......

"The group is sending a letter to potential advertisers, giving them two weeks to report on whether they will agree to boycott the program, warning that failure to respond will mean they support religious bigotry."
Sounds more like a plea for NOTORIETY!!!! (....Quite common, amongst "conservatives"....and, pageant-contestants.)

Who says he has no problem with being unable to bash Muhammad? Lots of people on comedy central have made fun of the 'can't show Muhammad' crap, including South Park (and in 4 different episodes no less).

Not since the Muslims finally noticed, and threatened them.

Still not true, the Daily Show even brought in a church choir to tell those Muslims (the ones making threats) to go fuck themselves.
