JFK told the Secret Service to keep its distance on assassination day

The Warren commission like so many other "commissions " established and staffed by the federal government wasn't organized to get to the truth. It's primary goal was simply CYA. While Americans were concerned about phantoms on the "grassy knoll" they forgot about Oswald. Who the hell was he? He was a Marine who abandoned his post and defected to Russia. Fair enough but why was he welcomed back to the U.S. in the coldest part of the cold war with his bride who was the daughter of a Russian KGB officer without being jailed for treason? Was Oswald a CIA informant or a double agent? Nobody knows because Ruby shot Oswald and Ruby died mysteriously in jail.
After over 50 years and no other plausible explanation emerging, it is obvious that the Warren Commission was spot on in its conclusions

Oswald shot JFK
Oswald acted alone
There was no magic bullet
Jack Ruby acted spontaneously

You make my point. How long did it take them to determine that Oswald shot JFK when the whole world knew about it almost instantly? Why did Oswald do it? Who was he? Why was he welcomed back to the U.S. after he renounced his citizenship and defected to Russia? Was he ever in custody before he shot JFK? Did he end up in Cuba? Was he a tool of the CIA or some other cold war shadow agency? The Warren commission was careful not to go into that part of the investigation while they chased grassy knoll phantoms for a couple of years..

They knew Oswald did it. His gun was found at the scene

Why? Because he was a useless little twerp who failed at everything he did. Killing JFK would make him a big shot.
He was not welcomed back to the US any more than he was welcome in the USSR…..he was still a citizen
There is no indication that he was helped by anyone.
In fact, the evidence showed he wasn’t.

The archives released about 20,000 files related to the assassination during the Trump administration but the media wasn't interested. One thing sticks out that Oswald met with Cuban leaders. What else is classified? Maybe in another forty years.

Oswald visited the Cuban Embassy in Mexico City
More of Oswald trying to be proclaimed a hero defector and lavished with praise.

It didn’t work when he went to the USSR and didn’t work with Cuba. Both thought he was an annoying creep

I believe Oswald was a hitman, hired by the Chicago Outfit. Ruby had to take out Oswald because they were worried he would talk.

Some hitman
Guy had a $19.95 bolt action rifle and he had to take a bus to make his escape

Six minutes before he shot Oswald, Ruby was across the street sending a Western Union money order. Doesn’t seem like the action of someone who was staking out Oswalds transfer

If the mob didn’t want Oswald to talk, they would have had a car waiting for him after he shot JFK. Oswald would never be seen again

I get it and you get it but why wasn't Oswald arrested for treason in the first place? Was he an agent or double agent of the CIA or some more notorious shadow government?

Wasn’t treason
He didn’t give the Soviets any secret information
You are allowed to say I want to live in Russia and then say I want to go back to the US

The guy wasn’t the sharpest crayon in the box and had some severe personality issues. Not exactly CIA or KGB material

During the coldest part of the Cold War the Russians were the enemy and any American who renounced his/her citizenship and fled to Russia would have been considered to be a traitor and treated as such especially a member of the military who abandoned his post. The fact remains why was Lee Oswald welcomed back to the U.S. with his KGB bride?

he was so sad that he wanted to die?

Very old news

It was known since day one. Conspiracy theorists always ignores this documented history and ask why the Agents were not riding on the limo or why the bubble top was not in place. The fact is JFK wanted it that way and it likely would not have helped anyway.

That is all fallacy.

You have never read the warren commission report and are only regugitating what you were told. Their mandate was to find the truth full stop. That is precesily what they pursued.

Oswald abandined no post at all he was thrown out.

His wife Marnina was NOT the daughter of a KGB officer. Her foather was a local police supervisor and that is all.

He commited no treason at all

Ruby did not die mysteriously he died of pneumonia.

We do indeed know Oswald was not an agent of any kind and neither was Ruby

200 feet? That's the distance Oswald was from the parade. Too bad the Secret Service and the FBI and the CIA weren't on the same network or rogue CIA agent Oswald might have been stopped.
Oswald was never a CIA agent rogue or otherwise.

BTW gthe parade followed a winding route which took it much closer to him. 200 feet is an easy shot with standard Marine training and an old rifle

Yes, Oswald was a traitor but had not committed treason. He was not in the military at that time.
Oswald was still considered a citizen and his wife was not affiliated with the KGB
