Revelations is not intended to be read as literally. The word and the "sword in Jesus mouth" are equated since words are wielded from the mouth. Hence, the sword of Jesus will strike down the deceptions held in the minds of the deceived. In all likely hood, Jesus is not going to have an actual weapon--just knowledge of the truth--but that will more destructive than any weapon man has.

I only stated that the belief that he will float down from the sky is what is irrational and will never happen. When Jesus appeared the first time he said that he came down from heaven but everyone knows that he came into the world in the usual way and was born into a family. If he ever returns how could he possibly come down from heaven in any other way?
