Do democrats even know what the word "responsibility" means? Maybe in political speech it's just a throwaway word. They say they take responsibility but it means they don't take responsibility but they want voters to think they did the right thing by taking responsibility. Janet Reno took responsibility for the Waco debacle and a couple of days later when it was clear that nothing would happen so did Bill Clinton. Hillary Clinton took responsibility for Benghazi and a few days later so did president Hussein. Neither one of them actually took responsibility. It was just a political slogan. Now Jesse Jr. claims responsibility for the mistakes leading up to his resignation but pleads insanity. It's a first for a politician but maybe a sign of the times.

Jesse Jackson Jr. has resigned from Congress just weeks after winning reelection for a ninth term.

My question is, how did he get re-elected? Perhaps the voters couldn't read?

Feds believe Jesse Jackson Jr. got tip about probe into his finances

While Jackson, a South Shore Democrat, eventually released information concerning his health, he did not publicly disclose he had knowledge of the federal probe until last Wednesday — the day he submitted a resignation letter to U.S. House Speaker John Boehner.

Though he took a leave from his post on June 10, Jackson did not reveal his absence from Congress for two weeks. Then, just before a filing deadline for possible opponents in the Nov. 6 election, his office issued a three-sentence release saying he had been absent because he suffered from exhaustion.

Jackson did not disclose his whereabouts until the Sun-Times reported earlier this year that he was admitted to Mayo Clinic.
