I used to hunt Jackalopes when I was a kid. In the wild, they can be quite dangerous. In a pack, they can bring down a small child

Not very good eating though....a little gamey and tough

Snipe are real. I know because my dad and my uncle took us on snipe hunts all the time when we were kids. Never caught one but heard them moving in the bushes all the time.

I had a good friend that kept one in the back of his truck and I had to drive the truck one time, and got pulled over by the police with them thinking I stole the truck.

Snipe are very real

We used to hunt them at night when I was in the Boy Scouts. The Scoutmaster caught a couple and put them in a pillow case

We were not allowed to see them because they are too dangerous during mating season
