This is stupidity on steroids. An SUV, at least theoretically, is a vehicle that is supposed to be able to take you off-road. Some are better at it than others, but there it is: Off road.

If you want to GO FAST, the last thing you should be driving is an SUV. Why make a 5000 pound vehicle go fast, when there are dozens of cars that will already go faster, handle better, get better fuel economy, and they don't look like trucks?

I have an SUV, and I also have a sports car. You can get a car that will go 150 for $15k (a used Vette). You can get a motorcycle that will go 150 for a couple thousand dollars.

A fast SUV is like a bikini on a porker. What is the point?
