    Summer hailstorms are a normal part of summer in Calgary, Alberta. Put 'Hailstorm in Calgary' on google and see how many differant years they have had vicious summer hailstorms in that area.

    Oh I know, I once lived on a ranch outside of Belle Fourche SD and we had some real corkers when I was growing up. Big damn hailstones too! One year we had a storm and I kid you not the hail stones were the size of small baseballs. They beat the crap out of the house!
