It is so nice to have an adult in charge once again

no SC appointee has gotten a congressional vote in the last year of a presidential term. No matter which party has been in power. So BS to your first point
How do you know when a deplorable is lying?
He's breathing. Redfish is a history illiterate.

The nomination of Justice Anthony Kennedy.

The Senate confirmed Kennedy 97-0 on Feb. 4, 1988.

Kennedy replaced Justice Lewis Powell, who retired, and was Reagan’s third nomination for the opening, after Robert Bork and Douglas Ginsburg. Powell announced his retirement in June 1987.

responding only to your comment about republicans dumbing down education. What party does the teachers union support? what party do most left wing college profs support?

The teachers aren't setting the cirriculum, buying the textbooks or purchasing the supplies. That's done by your state governments, which the last time I looked, were by and large, Republicans.

This is where your entire "liberal education" argument goes into the toilet. And the states with the lowest test scores, are red states. Teachers don't decide what they will and will not teach - they teach to the courses set by the states - Republican states. The idea that the left controls education is a false as the idea that tax cuts create jobs.

more BS. The teachers union exists in every state and lobbies legislatures to put in the curriculum that their left wing leaders want.
Communities pick the curriculum not the teachers. Another bonehead comment.

Not if they want to continue to receive federal funding. Common core is NOT a state program, it is a federal mandate.

Funny, coming from a premium subscriber to fake news and a supporter of the most corrupt political candidate in American history---------------the hildebeast.

While the Obama's saw the White House has nothing more than their personal playground - a way to have tax payers foot the bill for them to travel around the world, host Beyoncé & JayZ, golf, and make appearances on everything from The View to ESPN - Donald Trump is politely telling them "thanks....but no thanks - I've got work to do".

Trump is asked to predict NCAA winner like Obama. His reply?
Trump is doing the same, you dumbass...God are you myopic...

What is in the Oval office today is an immature, emotionally unstable MALE drama queen, that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

No it's not. In fact, the Every Child Succeeds Act of 2015 states ""The Secretary shall not attempt to influence, incentivize, or coerce State adoption of the Common Core State Standards developed under the Common Core State Standards Initiative or any other academic standards common to a significant number of States, or assessments tied to such standard."

No 7 states opted out of common core. What happened is the Federal Government stated if you don't adopt this we're going to withhold some of that 878 billion dollar economic stimulus bill.

Well, it seems the adult listened to Bannon again and had a temper tantrum

Trump is no adult, he's an emotionally unstable MALE drama queen.
He actually had 4 consecutive good days of not pissing down his leg all over the media message of the day. His NSA pick was viewed favorably, and while Tillerson seems to be lost, the media focused on Kelly Mathis and the new guy meshing into a coherent defense message. Pence was in Europe reassuring Nato countries, and there is progress on their increasing their defense budgets. Everyone wants to see his new Immigration EO, but the changes to Immigration enforcement weren't universally panned, as people want to see what they are, and pleasantly they aren't about trying to use the Army to arrest 12 million people. There was buzz on his regulatory cutting, which generally pleases old time conservatives.

But he's now set up the weekend news cycle for covering his media tiff rather than what actual policy is out there. I'd guess it was Bannon being left alone with him again. You just can't lead by fighting with people all the time. It's never worked for any potus, and it hasn't worked for running a real corporation where there are shareholders, and financial filings

When you state "

Don't need more. Until last year, no SC nominee was ever denied a vote in a president's final year.

speaking of Bull shit...Trump Tweets for Rubes....this is adult level Bull shit

Trump tweets wildly misleading comparison of the national debt in his first month to Obama's
Source: Business Insider

On Saturday morning, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to point out a fact he thought the media was underreporting: the decrease in the national debt in his first month.

"The media has not reported that the National Debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo(nth)," tweeted Trump.

The tweet, which echoes something Herman Cain said on Fox News' Fox & Friends an hour before, doesn't make sense for a few reasons.

First, it is true that the debt has probably ticked down but as noted by the Atlantic's David Frum, this is mostly due to the federal government rebalancing its intra-governmental holdings. Debt outstanding to the public has barely budged since Inauguration Day.

Wait....you want me to accept a source who states (and I quote) "the debt has probably ticked down". So they don't even verify the facts before reporting?

It figures that you would turn to a source like that for your news TyroneSlothrop. We'd expect nothing less. The fact is - the debt exploded under Barack Obama (by design) and it is going down under Trump (also by design).

It is so nice to have an adult in charge once again.
