It is simply indisputable - we have a severe spending problem

You're right - "blatant waste is blatant waste". And government welfare, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, are the most egregious and deplorable forms of government waste. It takes from producers and funnels money to parasites who are nothing but a drag on society.

Defense isn't even 1% of the spending problem in this country and even the ignorant liberals know it.

You mentioned a lot of large programs that impact a lot of people and declared they are examples of deplorable waste without providing any evidence at all. There is also a clear moral reason for why some of the programs you mentioned exist.

For example Medicaid helps provide aid to sick children. There is a clear moral reason to provide this care. There is also an economic one as these children will be the producers of the future.

I know some people blindly follow ideologies where government spending is bad an inefficient but they never really want to talk about how expensive it is to have people unemployed or in jail or disabled.

Please cite the section of the Constitution which declares the federal government is responsible for what you deem to be "moral reasons" (which are in fact social issues but you believe you can get further with the false narrative of "moral").

Furthermore, if it is so "moral" - why aren't you covering the cost to help all of the sick children? Do you lack morality? Is that what you're saying? :eusa_eh:

That was before the Federal Reserve made private profit from lending to govt.
Before the military complex spent billions per month on advanced defense systems.
Before corporations abused personhood to play shell games at taxpayers' expense.

You'll notice that the majority of abuses are through systems that bypass or exceed Constitutional checks and balances that otherwise stop these by limiting govt as the Constitution originally intended.

The Libertarians denounce the Federal Reserve as unconstitutional and corrupt,
but the other parties won't listen to them so the private conflicts of interest continue.

The Greens denounce corporate personhood as bypassing Constitutional checks and balances on govt influence and policy. But since this affects campaign funding, the
major parties won't listen to them so these abuses continue unchecked.

The Democrats denounce excess war contracts and spending, but because of political conflicts of interest with Republicans, these two parties dismiss each other's objections.

When will the American public figure out to enlist each party in going after the corruption they specialize in researching, and holding ALL these sources accountable for abuses?

Why discredit one for the other as if these are in competition?
Why not assign ALL the groups to collect on the debts and damages owed to taxpayers?

What if all of them are RIGHT? Why not let them CORRECT the problems they police?

The Democrats tax our income at the federal level, at the state level, and at the local level. What is left, we use to pay for our homes. But that's not enough for them - so they tax us again with property tax. What's left after paying our for our home, we use to put gas in our card. But that's still not enough for Democrats, so they tax us again with a gas tax. What's left after that third round of taxing isn't enough for the greedy Democrats, so they tax us again when we purchase our necessities with sales tax. But that's still not enough for the Democrats, so they tax us more (well over 60% of the middle class income is stolen by the government).

If you think Medicaid isn't Constitutional then feel free to make that argument.

I would be perfectly happy with UHC.
