CDZ It could have ended differently

yup.....

I don't know where to go from here with the conversation though. Want to talk about more vague shootings?

someone points a gun at you.

It's fake.

You have half a second to decide if it's fake or not.

it's black.

Not orange.

the cop told the kid to raise his hand up.

What did the kid did?

Reach the damn fire arm.

If I were a cop, I can shoot the kid and may be wrong. If I am right I may have removed a killer. If I am wrong, well, he really should have raise his hands up.

But what about if I don't shoot? And turns out the kid have a real gun?

Then what?

Then I am death.

Yeah, no real argument here.

How about debating a more vague case. Perhaps the Michael Brown shooting if you don't think that one has been beat to death already? Both sides have points to be made there.

Not really, the Brown shooting was pretty straight forward once all the facts came out.

There is a real conversation to be had in a broader context though - the militarization of the police and the rate that they use confrontation when it is not really needed.
