The girl that lived with her boyfriend who was all beet up and locked out called cops and wanted her stuff. The cops got permission from her to go in and got the manager to let them in. Channel 7 Chicago said no gun was reportedly found. This happened Feb 3. If they had taken a gun from the dead guy, it would be in the news by now. Just being logical.

(2) A lot of young gentlemen of ethnicity X are far from cooperative with cops, teachers, etc.

(3) Hopefully (even in 2024), there will be an impartial investigation.

(4) If the cops are found guilty of violating the law, they should be appropriately punished. (Many cops are far from being well-trained, especially in small towns.)


(5) If the shooting is found to have been justified, the family should not receive a penny. But they WILL. In fact, more than a penny.
