An obvious truth. What happened to the 90-95% of the slaves who were not brought to America, but sent to other countries instead? The majority of them ended up in South America.

So why do we never hear anything about famous South American descendants of slaves, who went on to become famous scientists, engineers, inventors, doctors, lawyers, politicians, etc?

But...as I have said multiple times now...I do not support any sort of reparations for anything done by our forefathers. I am not sure why that is so hard for you people to grasp.

1. We did not do anyone a favor by enslaving them and bringing them to our country.

One of the two articles I linked to earlier said the life expectancy of slaves sent to the Brazilian sugar cane fields had an average life expectancy of only 7 years. Horrific.

In a region of 40-50,000,000 it would not have made a difference, in an undeveloped, stone-age hunter-gatherer culture...
