"It ain't [America] no more, OK?"

Schools do NOT have different free speech rules when being used FOR NON SCHOOL ACTIVITIES at night.

This was a town hall meeting.

School 'rules' also only apply to students, I could wear a pro abortion or pro god shirt or anything I wanted on school grounds and nobody could prevent it.

private property ....differ rules....simple as that....schools have the most restrictive rules on what can and cannot appear on their property?

so does the property owners have rights? is the school board carrying out the wishes of their voters?

so is the school public or private? Do we the people own that school or do we not?

When I ran my caucus at the local high school I was informed that NO posters were to be placed on anything, you could hold them but not put them up anywhere.

It was to keep the school clean of political posters that the staff would then have to remove.

Because this school officer could not state the law very well doesnt mean anything that you claim it does.

Come on now, I have to believe this is all over Faux News. Can't someone provide the name of the school so we can find out who owns it and perhaps their rules for assembly?

man i wish there was this kind of outrage when bush had people with anti bush t-shirts removed from his events.

Got a link?

Nicole and Jeff Rank were removed from the event in handcuffs after revealing T-shirts with President Bush's name crossed out on the front. Nicole Rank's shirt had the words "Love America, Hate Bush" on the back and Jeff Rank's had "Regime change starts at home" on the back.

The man ws trying to HANG the sign.

Did you hear anyone say he could not hold it?

He complained about other people who held signs but those others were not trying to Hang their signs.

Interesting. I wonder if Xenophon started a thread about this back in the day? Xenophon? Comments?

He was on school property....

It appears that there were others there "on school property" about the issues, and they were not being discriminated against. That is the point.

The Officer made it clear, "This ain't America No Mo!"

South Lakes High School in Reston, VA.

Turns out that the guy is just a school security guard. I'm guessing the unemployment rate in Reston will tick up a bit.

It's very tough watching this video because it gives me motion sickness...but let me ask a question

How many of you think this is a harried campus cop giving a smart ass answer because he's tired of arguing?

-or-

How many of you think he speaks for the U.S. Government today?

Neither ... he speaks from his personal beliefs and it was obvious he didn't like the sign because it was anti shit stain.
Ill arrest you for what ever I want ... and then you and I would be at the rose garden sipping off a 40

Being a Liberal and being a Socialist/Progressive are two completely different things at this point. The Democratic Party is no longer the Party of Liberals because it has now become the Party of Socialists/Progressives. Socialists/Progressives & Liberals are not the same thing. Liberals always defended Free Speech but Socialists/Progressives never have and never will. People need to start understanding that there really is a big difference between Socialists/Progressives and Liberals. Socialism/Communism never lead to more Freedom & Liberty. They always lead to less Freedom & Liberty in the end. :(

Listen carefully to the video.

He is told NOT to hang the poster up.

He is NOT told to leave for holding it , he is told he can not Hang it u.

This is standard procedure for any political event held on school property.

You cant hang anything but you can hold it.

If they allow people to hang shit up then the school has to pay to have it removed before classes can be held.

Schools are supposed to be a propaganda free space.

Schools are supposed to be a propaganda free space.
WTF?????? Schools are a propaganda forum ad nauseum. For Chrissakes, public education is run by the Teacher's union.

go to your local school and hang up a poltical poster and see what happens to you.
