Israel? Eh, Not So Bad

The Jews are the only people in history, who have been dispersed to the four corners of the earth, then regained their homeland. Just like the Bible predicted would happen. They turned a desert into a land of plenty, that actually helps feed other countries in the middle east. Just like the Bible predicted. Now get this. The events of revelation cannot happen without Israel. Israel is central to the events that lead up to the battle of Armageddon. Events that were foretold two thousand years ago. Maybe you should think about that.

Erm, Poles managed that little feat too, so not a unique event.

Also no evidence that modern Israel/Palestine was the "homeland" of any of the current European Jewish inhabitants. Palestine was thriving when they arrived and their first attempts failed miserably only kept alive by a huge investment by the Rotheschilds bank. The British and Palestinians were mainly responsible for the prosperity of the region. Jewish colonists could hardly have "turned a desert into a land of plenty" because the land they owned was already amongst the best agricultural land in Palestine.

If you and the rest of the nut jobs want to bring about your "Rapture" that's fine with me, you can all fuck off and leave the rest of us to clear up your mess, it would be worth it just to see the back of you all, whatever religion you claim to espouse.

Er...NO!! You seem to forget that the Ottomans owned much of the land and that most of the rest was owned by absent landlords.....from all over including the Lebanon. You could at least get your facts straight!! As for the poms.....when the Ottomans were defeated in WW1 the English(UK, Brits etc etc for the nit piccy) inherited the admin of what was a very broken land. I suggest you read accurate histories, even from Pal point of view.

Wow ... the author had the temerity to say we should cut average Palestinians some slack because they literally must live under the HAMAS/PLO gun and the anti-Israel/anti-Jew cabal here has a bird.

Not really, just astonished that any sane rational person would think a Christian fundamentalist whack-job magazine was a credible source. Still shouldn't be that surprised with the number of Christian fundamentalist whack-jobs that post here.

Soooo, you are OK with the idea of cutting the average Palestinian some slack but couldn't resist the opportunity to trash the messenger. Got it, :asshole:.

That's real funny. Because when you are over there, you can almost tell immediately when you cross over from west to east Jerusalem. You can feel the oppression in the air and see it on the streets. It is sad really.

But of course, it is all the fault of the Joos, right?

No it's the fault of the Zionist regime that created the mess in the first place.

So nothing to do with the theft of the land by arab muslims in 1949

How can Muslims (and Christians) have stolen land when the land was 85% theirs, as per the land/tax registries? Heck, they (the Muslims and Christians) were living there. It is the Jews that came from Europe to steal the land.

You really need to learn to read properly as that piece of paper does not say they owned the land, just that they were in possession. As the police will tell you a thief possesses your property until they are caught and it is returned to your ownership. In this case the arab muslims possessed land stolen from its legal owners, or rented from its legal owners. They did not own the land and had no rights to keep on possessing the land after 1917. Where the Jews came from has no bearing as land theft is land theft, and as International law of 1923 states the land of Palestine was for the National home of the Jews. How many people live in America that don't own any of the land, does this make them owners ?

How could the Jews steal something that was by INTERNATIONAL LAW theirs to begin with

What international law of 1923? care to be more specific?

Nope. Because it never happened outside of planet Phoney. Stop trolling.

In 1949 the arab muslims forcibly evicted Jews from the west bank and Jerusalem, stealing their land and property. Other Islamic nations did the same and this resulted in over 1 million Jewish refugee's, forgotten by the world because they were absorbed into Israel.

SO WHY DO YOU IGNORE HISTORICAL FACTS AND TROLL THE BOARD WITH YOUR NEO MARXIST LIES AND FABRICATIONS.

Recent polls in Israel indicate that your average Palestinian would much prefer to live in Israel than in a potential Palestinian state.

For decades, at least since the First Intifada in 1987 (and the rise of Hamas), Palestinians will privately say that living conditions under Israel are far superior to living under Muslim rule. When the Palestinian Authority (really, the old PLO) was installed under the rule of the serial killer, Yasser Arafat, in 1994, the standard of living went south.

For example, the corrupt PA leadership lives in luxury villas in Gaza and the territories. Do you think Saeb Erekat and his family in Jericho live in anything less than luxury? They steal the international aid intended for the Palestinian people, for infrastructure and food and medicine.

The dissatisfaction extends into the wider Middle East. When Palestinians pledge support to terror groups, there are often reasons other than ideology that come to the fore. According to a report in the Jerusalem Post:

“In mid-2012, Hezbollah entered Syria, ostensibly to safeguard a regime that was vital in supporting its operations in the region. Once thought of as the ‘axis of resistance’ against Israel, their intervention, coupled with their ally’s brutal siege on Yarmouk, has damaged the movement’s popularity among Palestinians from Syria.

“Abu Ameen, a 40-year-old Palestinian who also escaped from Syria in December 2012, says that though he’s openly pledged support to Hezbollah, he’s merely done so to avoid confrontation under their governance.

“’We are afraid to talk about them here,’ whispered Abu Ameen, while cleaning his eye glasses in a small bedroom in Shatila. ‘Many of us don’t trust Hezbollah anymore.’”

I’ve had many conversations with Palestinians who will tell you the real story, far away from the CNN cameras. That’s another reason that we as Christians who support Israel, should not demonize the Palestinian people. Sure, there are polls that show the majority support terror groups or homicide bombings, or the elimination of Israel.

Yet we should remember that people who live under totalitarian regimes are virtually powerless to stand up to the regime. It’s easy for me to say, from 8,000 miles away, that I’d stand up to Hamas. Those terror groups literally have guns to the heads of family members of Palestinians who then go on TV to denounce Israel and the West.

That isn’t to say there aren’t real problems with Palestinian society. Just that we should give some slack to people who are living under the boot of maniacs.

Life in Israel, however, is an oasis in the Middle East. Healthcare, jobs, etc.

This has been the “hope” of Israeli leaders for decades: perhaps in 100 years, the Palestinian people will move past their hatred of Israel to embrace a better life. Certainly, we can all hope that evil leaders like Mahmoud Abbas will pass from the scene quickly.

That's why I think an international force from many countries needs to go into gaza and lebanon and completely wipe out both hamas and hezbollah. Then iran's regime needs to be exterminated like the cockroach vermin it is and utterly destroyed. Once that is accomplished, Egypt's plan to create a stand-alone, single pal state in the sinai needs to be implemented, with all pals moved into it. Israel would then absorb an emptied gaza and west bank, and that would go a long way towards resolving this issue.

Like I said, it's the fault of the Zionist regime that created the mess in the first place. Creating the conditions that made the native Jewish populations difficult in their own lands and encouraging and fostering Muslim resentment. Even then many, roughly 25% of Jewish emigrants wanted to go to the USA, or anywhere BUT Israel.

Palestinians prefer to live in Israel for the same reason they do not migrate to Arab countries. It is the same reason Muslims are migrating to Europe, and the same reason Hispanics migrate to the United States.

People of European descent, including Ashkenazi Jews, create humane, well functioning societies. Third world peoples do not. Unfortunately, they bring with them the social dysfunction they are trying to escape.

They want to move to our countries for the same reason we should try to keep them out.
