Israel 'cuts Palestinian water'

Let's start with you have 4 stories that all come out of one. Similar stories have been debunked in the past, as the result of rumors egged on by propaganda. I have little reason to think these are any different. Time will tell.

So there are no facts presented here.

These stories have come from multiple sources including Israeli soldiers. They have yet to be "debunked" and have been taken seriously enough to be looked at seriously by the international community.

What facts do you offer? Thus far - there is more evidence showing that the Israeli's used human shields then not.

All the stories rely on the same set of "information" or disinformation as it happens. "Israeli soldiers" are notoriously a poor source, and many stories in the past fell apart on investigation into these soldiers' stories.
Thus far there is more evidence that OJ was innocent than that Israel used human shields.

yea.. thats a convincing website.

clearly superior to the bbc, guardian and times.

In the 112-page report, Amnesty says that on average Palestinian daily water consumption reaches 70 litres a day, compared with 300 litres for the Israelis.

300 LITERS PER DAY???

Damn! Those Israelis must piss like racehorses!

CAMERA: Breaking the Silence and the British Media

CAMERA seem pretty heavily pro-Israel. In fact, they are a political lobbying group.

What makes them any more accurate than the sources I cite, such as the Israeli organization B'Tselem? The Israeli high court even ruled on the illegality of the IDF using Palestinians as human shields so it it quite clear that it was being done and evidence supports it still being done.

Substantial evidence has accumulated to show that Israel acted disproportionately in the last Gaza conflict including the use of white phospherous in urban areas, refusing to let aid in the the wounded, and using human sheilds. Taken all together it topples Israel from the moral highroad it has long sought to occupy in this conflict. It makes them no better than those they are fighting - worse even in some ways, because they have the power to control every aspect of those peoples lives and economies.

The "sources" you cite are all propagandists and Pali apologists. There is no evidence for whatever it is you think you are alleging.
If the Israelis had the power to control "every aspect of those people's lives" why wouldn't they banish them elsewhere? Or make them stop committing terrorist acts?
Your rhetoric is simply stupid.

Oh silly me...so many propagandists and Pali apologists....they can't possibly be right, not like a pro-Israel action committee.

Banish them WHERE? They'd like to I'm sure. It would solve all their problems. Except that, this area is their home. Not Jordan. Not any of a number of other Middle Eastern Countries.

Instead all they do is create a miserable apartheid situation to contain them. Instead, they control water, commerce, travel, electricity and medical supplies entering and exiting the Palestinian territories.

Actually Jordan IS their country. Except the Jordanians kicked them out. Remember Black September? How come you weren't protesting that? Why don't you bring that up?
But you have dodged the question: if Israel controls every facet of their lives then why is Israel having a hard time controlling their terrorist activities?
The Egyptians are controlling entry and access as well. Why aren't you posting about the Egyptian Holocaust against the poor innocent Palis??

See, that's one of the rules here in this game. You can criticize Israel for policies and actions. That's legitimate. But you cannot single them out when plenty of others are doing the same or worse. That is anti-semitism.

Not exactly correct - you know what "indigenous" means right? I don't bring it up because you are distorting history here.

After looking at various alternatives, the UN proposed the partitioning of Palestine into two independent States, one Palestinian Arab and the other Jewish, with Jerusalem internationalized (Resolution 181 (II) of 1947). One of the two States envisaged in the partition plan proclaimed its independence as Israel and in the 1948 war expanded to occupy 77 per cent of the territory of Palestine. Israel also occupied the larger part of Jerusalem. Over half of the indigenous Palestinian population fled or were expelled. Jordan and Egypt occupied the other parts of the territory assigned by the partition resolution to the Palestinian Arab State which did not come into being.

n the 1967 war, Israel occupied the remaining territory of Palestine, until then under Jordanian and Egyptian control (the West Bank and Gaza Strip). This included the remaining part of Jerusalem, which was subsequently annexed by Israel. The war brought about a second exodus of Palestinians, estimated at half a million. Security Council resolution 242 (1967) of 22 November 1967 called on Israel to withdraw from territories it had occupied in the 1967 conflict.

Black September occurred in 1970 and ended in 1971 July 1971 with the expulsion from Jordan of the PLO and thousands of Palestinian fighters to Lebanon. The Palestinians in Jordan were in refugee camps - they were refugees from the prior conflicts.

But you have dodged the question: if Israel controls every facet of their lives then why is Israel having a hard time controlling their terrorist activities?

You are correct on one point - it is an exageration to say that Israel controls every aspect of their lives but they control a large portion.

The Egyptians are controlling entry and access as well. Why aren't you posting about the Egyptian Holocaust against the poor innocent Palis??

Because Egypt is not going in and shooting them like fish in a barrel nor is Egypt restricting their water, electricity or economy in the way Israel is. At this point in time - Israel is the greater offender in the situation. That doesn't absolve the other countries in the region but Israel has the most responsibility at this point for the situation.

See, that's one of the rules here in this game. You can criticize Israel for policies and actions. That's legitimate. But you cannot single them out when plenty of others are doing the same or worse. That is anti-semitism.

You don't understand the rules.

First off - I've never absolved other Middle Eastern countries or the Palestinians themselves for the historical actions that have led to the current situation. But at this point in time Israel bears a much greater responsibility for a situation that is increasingly resembling Apartheid.

Second - instead of this knee-jerk defense of Israel, or deflecting the argument onto others, why not address the actual issues?

Third - quit pulling the anti-semetism card - it gets old. Criticism of Israeli political policies and actions is not antisemitism and it's about time there was some honest open talk about it.

Are you capable of that?

Lying. Dissembling. Casting blame.
Is this really the best you can do? Can you really not think past headlines?

Well, if you're incapable of debating the points - just come out and say it. Don't waste bandwidth pretending.

There are no points to debate. There are no facts adduced. There is rumor and hearsay and propaganda along the lines of those innocent Palestinians and those mean Israelis. That isn't a debate.
The truth is that Palestinians are the ******* of the middle east. The other Arabs hate them but find them politically useful for beating up Israel. They cause crime and instability any place they settle. This is why Arafat ended up in Tunis after the Israelis ejected him. Arab countries could have solved the refugee problem decades ago but found them too politically expedient. The PA has received more money per capita in aid from Europe, the US, and Arab countries than any other entity. And the average Palestinian living there is worse off. No country has more corruption than the PA.
When elections were held the Palestinians elected Hamas, whose operatives took out Fatah workers and machine gunned them in the street. How do you negotiate with an entity like that?
