Why are some right wingnuts so scrupulous about sources when it comes to criticism of their candidates, and yet so many are willing to believe any sort of crapola about a Democrat or liberal?

For the same reasons Dems are heavily-inclined to believe the story without any further corroboration. People believe what they want to believe.

My life has become better and more informed after I stopped watching television or listening to the radio, significantly after I stopped believing the media hype and mainstream media on the internet.

yeah, but if you look at it, all the sources, including the local paper, trace back to this guy Roberts and his uncorroborated statements.

Doesn't mean it isn't true. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it is. But this isn't sufficient to establish it by any stretch.

When you're talking about school board news the local source is the best.

That said, I actually agree with those who say they wouldn't be surprised if it's true but would like to see another person's account. I'll bet if independent corroboration exists, it'll come out posthaste. They do keep those sunshine school board meeting minutes and stuff, right?

The source is one guy, Bill Roberts...the reporter.

A reporter should be able to easily corroborate a story, especially one he himself covered.
