Actually, Republicans are hoping Sanders will win the nomination. Biden would be a more difficult candidate to beat despite his his obvious mental deficits, but Bernie the Marxist will be much easier.

Actually, Republicans are hoping Sanders will win the nomination. Biden would be a more difficult candidate to beat despite his his obvious mental deficits, but Bernie the Marxist will be much easier.

Other way around. Biden has the most political baggage and history. He's also proven he's on par with Trump linguistically (lots of gaffes). On a debate stage, they are equal...until a serious policy discussion starts and then Joe can wrestle. In the format, I don't think the debate moderators will be as flexible this time around.

But Sanders?...Trump's toast before he takes the stage. Sanders has been consistent in his policy views for his political life. If Trump has to start explaining his positions on the intricacies of healthcare and taxes, he's done.
