Is our president another voice in the wilderness?

The political longitude in the United States post-election is about as unique as it has been since the Civil War. There is little doubt that the new president is the first elected leader in living memory to come from outside the Deep-State contingency that has produced the bulk of the administrations on both sides of the philosophical spectrum. While the president acquired the White House on the Republican ticket, he used that platform only as a vehicle to get to where he wanted to be. So he probably has as many enemies in his own party as the opposition party.

For purposes of clarification the average citizen must understand that the Deep State and the political establishment in the United States have become indistinguishable and interchangeable. Career elected politicians embedded in the process, some for generations, are as much a part of the Deep State as armies of unelected hacks and civil servants whose meal tickets are punched with taxes extracted from the working class. Nancy Pelosi and John McCain fit as neatly into the toolbox of the Deep State as a hammer and a chisel and each has a vested interest in maintaining the status quo because the impenetrable Deep State they have hammered and chiseled together is guarded by an insular ivory tower most of us call the political establishment.

Now attacks, witch hunts and obstructive federal rulings blocking executive action are coming from all directions because the president has come from outside the box and he has no interest in shoring up or fortifying the Deep State that the political establishment has come to call its home. The unanticipated result of the last election is undisputed proof that the timbers are rotting in that ivory tower and while some are climbing down others are so attached to the upper levels that they have no choice but to ride the tower when it falls. Many democrats and republicans as well climbed to the very top of the tower while our jobs disappeared overseas, our borders vanished and our cities became killing fields for terrorism.

There are forces at work now to relegate the president to an ignored voice in the wilderness and this is not the first time an ignored voice could be the last chance to save the people. Incredibly there is a historical analogical precedent for the dangerous state of affairs we are facing today.

In 1986 NASA was preparing to launch the space shuttle Challenger which included a politically correct crew of two women, an Asian and an African American. In addition one of the crew was Christa McAuliffe, who had won a contest to be the first teacher in space. On January 28, 1986 millions of school children across the country watched in disbelief as all seven crew members of the shuttle perished when the solid rocket booster burned through the casting of the craft leading to a catastrophic breakup and crash into the sea at Cape Canaveral.

Essentially NASA had relied on political science rather than actual science and the Challenger launch was really just a publicity stunt to showcase the arrogant, bogus ideological superiority of political correctness. Sadly, there were warnings. Engineers at Morton Thiokol, manufacturer of the O-rings that failed, frantically recommended a launch delay to ensure the safety of the astronauts. The agenda-based leadership of the Challenger mission at NASA intimidated any opposition to a launch delay and the rest is history. You see the agenda and the public image of the establishment at NASA were the main priority.

The president is sounding an alarm that we are headed for catastrophe if we don’t start controlling who is entering our country but agenda-based, federal intimidation is in full swing and sanctuary cities are the perilous O-rings of our society. If you are protected by vast oceans and immense geography from forces that want to kill you does it make sense to bring those forces into your midst and impose them on your children with no checks and balances? Richard Feynman, a theoretical physicist and member of the Rogers Commission investigating the shuttle disaster: "Reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." Our president is saying the same.

You can try to sell bullshit to a cattle rancher for fertilizer telling the rancher about all the benefits of his bullshit all you want, but the ranchers still breathing and thinking know that the bullshit the hawker is trying to sell them would be a waste of time, money and effort!

People are catching on to trump and the bullshit he's been selling. It's past time for trump-bots and assorted sycophants of the Orange One to wake up and smell the bullshit!
