Party politics is a game, nothing more. Both parties will be around as long as we have voters taking sides. You can't destroy a political party as long as we have a politically divided citizenry. Democrats will vote for Democrats, and Republicans will vote for Republicans.

Hard to destroy a party that doesn't exist. That being said, young Cubans don't think the same as their parents and won't flock to the Republic party because of this. As a matter of fact, many are happy for the chances to visit family that normalized relations affords.

Yep.

That's why I never know what to believe when a partisan ideologue says something, anything.

Just another version of professional wrestling. Too bad these liars are so influential in our lives.

.
Generally speaking, the general public can't, or wont, face reality. In my opinion, they're afraid of the truth. For these reasons, and a few more, politics will not change in the foreseeable future.

Then prove this 2014 poll is wrong.

A slight majority of the Cuban-American community

in Miami-Dade County opposes continuing the U.S.

embargo of Cuba. Countywide, 52% of the respondents

oppose continuing the embargo. This percentage rises

among Cuban Americans ages 18-29, 62% of whom

oppose continuing the embargo. Similarly, 58% of those

arriving since 1995 oppose continuing the embargo.

Among registered voters, the split is nearly equal,

with 51% in favor of continuing the embargo and 49%

opposing its continuation.

I think you're a fucking idiot, first of all. You have no evidence to support your claim.

Are you going to revise history now and tell me thousands of Cubans were not killed and didn't leave?

it makes sense if you are a thinking person.

there is nothing that cuba has ever done which should disqualify us from going there or doing business with them.
