In order to be a Christian, you have to accept Christ as your personal savior. That is not rocket science. His Church is a black liberation theology church... they believe in collective salvation.

Personal salvation is not collective salvation. That's a fact. Whether Obama is a Christian, I neither know nor care.

So a Catholic is not a Christian since salvation comes thru baptism which usually occurs as an infant?

Most Tea Baggers also know that the United States was originally founded as a theocracy, America was not a nation of pacifists up until World War 1, the Native Americans were sent off to reservations for their own good, and that while there was racial inequality in the past, and disparities now a days are the fault of the minorities, and the minorities alone because the Tea Baggers are such enlightened and generous individuals. All of Christ's teachings are about personal salvation. I can't save you and you can't save me. There is nothing in His teaching about collective salvation - yet, that is the salvation taught by black liberation theology churches. Whether they, as individuals, are Christians is not for me to judge. "Is é Dia amháin a thabharfaidh breithiúnas orm" (Only God shall Judge Me).

....historically individual STATES (called Colonies) were founded pretty much as functioning theocracies...after all they were groups of religious escapees....

however the UNITED STATES under the Constitution and Bill of Rights....was NOT founded as a "theocracy" as you so claim...

I do not respect him either, but whether or not he is a Christian is not known to me. Maybe he has accepted some far out theology, but even if he has, if he believes and is baptized, the Bible says he will be saved.

I will leave that decision up to the Lord and hope and pray that my Lord is the merciful God that he says he is, because if he is not, then I am in deep doo doo.
