wassamatter, not getting enough hits in the identical thread at hannity?
I just posted it a few minutes apart over there. Give it time. Is Jindal qualified?

The constitution is clear, try reading it.

I have read it. Jindal would not be qualified to be President according to the Constutution. His parents disqualify him.

"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

His parents were legal immigrants, he was born in the US. He can be President.

Wrong. His parents were not born in the US which makes him just a US Citizen but not a Natural Born Citizen. The only time a US Citizen could be President was at the Adoption of the Constitution as stated here.

Reading comprehension problems...

Maybe we should just be done with it and turn this into an Obama birther thread. That is the intent anyway

Look up natural born citizen laws and then we will talk.

As long as his parents did not have diplomatic immunity, it does not matter where they were born, it doesn't even matter if they were citizens the time of his birth. He is a natural born citizen.

You dumb ass. Reading is fundamental. It reads a natural born citizen or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution. The law allowed for those that were obviously British Citizens before the Constitution was written.

You made yourself out to be a complete douche.

Before you start talking out your ass next time, you should do a little research.

In the case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898), the Supreme Court ruled that a person becomes a citizen of the United States at the time of birth, by virtue of the first clause of the 14th amendment of the Constitution, if that person is:

Born in the United States
Has parents that are subjects of a foreign power, but not in any diplomatic or official capacity of that foreign power
Has parents that have permanent domicile and residence in the United States
Has parents that are in the United States for business

United States nationality law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

His parents were college students, not diplomats! And the fact you think no one checked this out when they are talking about him running a year ago, proves even more what an idiot you are.

Notwithstanding the problems I have with how the 14th amendment came to be and why, it clearly defines who is a citizen. If you are born here, you are one, natural born.

The other poster states your real agenda is to go birther with this. If so, why the inept lead in? It takes no discussion and about a minute or less to read exactly why Jindal is qualified. Just start a birther thread and move on.

Ya know....if you wanted to be a real pain in the ass...you could read this to mean that the last person eligible to be potus died in the 1800's...

The man was born in Baton Rouge, LA. It's well documented.

Now, how aqbout Kermit the Frog?
