Is Louisiana's Gov Bobby Jindal Constitutionally Qualified to be President?

Wrong. His parents were not born in the US which makes him just a US Citizen but not a Natural Born Citizen. The only time a US Citizen could be President was at the Adoption of the Constitution as stated here.

"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

You dumb ass. Reading is fundamental. It reads a natural born citizen or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution. The law allowed for those that were obviously British Citizens before the Constitution was written.

You made yourself out to be a complete douche.

Ya know....if you wanted to be a real pain in the ass...you could read this to mean that the last person eligible to be potus died in the 1800's...

Can you imagine the field day the birthers would have trying to validate HIS birth certificate. Oh wait, that guy would have been white. Never mind.

Is he? His parents were born in India.

Why are you picking on poor little Piyush Jindal?

He's not white. That makes him suspect. Besides, he believes in "magical creation" over science. Didn't we already have one of those?

Science? Evolution is still just a theory douche bag. Nobody knows when/why the world or when/why life for that matter actually began.

Unless of course you know something that millions of scientists over the centuries did not know.

:clap2:

Funny image and caption!

Excellent rebuttal of the OP with ONE question.

I know. I know. The man was born HERE in the USA -- and his parents were not here as ambassadors, etc., of some other nation. Thus, by definition, he was born as a natural born US citizen and is now a natural born US citizen.

Not really though. It comes down to difference in meaning of the words or and and. Mike Tyson said it best, Reading is fundamental.

Unless of course you have this all figured out.

Evolution is a THEORY?:cuckoo:

Yes. Why, do you have evidence that man evolved from apes and that apes eveolved from.... which started at what point in time?

Molecular bioligists can prove evolution, but they cannot prove where/when it all began, so, "magical creation" is no less plausible.

Nice try though. Unless of course you have proof when/why/where it all began?

Well yeah.....that is why it is taught as the "theory of evolution" in schools.

Now, so I believe in the notion that "poof".. there is a guy and a gal standing in a magical garden full of apples? Not so much.

I was thinking more along the lines of comma placement and the sentence without the injected phrase.

Actually, it is.

It is not exactly quite a "law."

A scientific "theory" has been tested and replicated in accordance with the scientific method. It is not the same as a surmise.

So?

It's still just a scientific theory.

It may be the truth, too. Those are not mutually exclusive.

But in precise scientific terms, it is not a law of science. It is still a theory.

At the time of the adoption of the Constitution yes a Citizen could become President. That was why the founders added a Grandfather Clause to allow a Citizen President. After that no person of foreign blood could become President. Your Parents (plural) had to be born in the USA like McCains which made him a Natural Born Citizen. Jindal is just a US Citizen but not Natural Born Citizen.

You remarked that "magical creation" is somehow silly, yet you offer nothing "proving" where it all came from. So, even if evolution were, say, a law, it wouldn't prove where it all began. We don't know. So, besmurching someone who believes in creation is just dumb. And by the way, I believe in creation AND I accept the theories put forth regarding eveolution.

Back that up with case law. I dare you.
