So while I had the amount of years wrong, as I said I prolly did... I was right about the amounts. In 10 years the deficit will raise 10-11 Trillion, in 20 it would be around 20 Trillion. The deficit would be around 26 Trillion in 10 years with these massive cuts in spending.

So as you can see, we have nothing that even comes close to Austerity.

Let's start with my country. My government is most definitely conservative especially with finances. Because Harper and our Finance Minister didn't go spending trillions on useless projects like Solyndra just to pay back donors and launder money like Obama, we're in very good shape right now.

Oh and a biggie. They can account for every penny that was spent.

They cut the GST by two percentage points and they are continually cutting taxes both corporate and personal.

They just put thru an exceptional "get tough on crime" package.

AND lived up to their promise of getting rid of our stupid and huge waste of money gun registration laws that were put thru by the Liberals.

AND increased spending on our military. That's just the tip of the Conservative iceberg!

As far as Sweden's Alliance goes, although they are no Tea Party American Style they are conservative.

The Social Democratic Party was based on Marxism. That's who they have driven out of office after they had dominated for 70 years.

AND the Alliance has cut taxes and capped taxes. They are conservative.

Correct. Yet, austerity would be the grease that would move recovery forward. Along with policy that promotes business activity.

WRONG....Increasing federal employment and creating new entitlements takes wealth OUT oif the economy. Government produces nothing. Government consumes.
Following your logic adding ot the federal payroll must be funded. Therefore more wealth must be taken by government from the private sector to fund it. That removes wealth from the private sector. That shrinks the private sector which where ALL wealth is created.
Federal hiring adds taxpayer funded consumers but it's a wash or even a loss for the private sector. No gains are realized with increasing federal hiring.
Both Nixon and Carter placed freezes on federal hiring....Both were big government liberals. If they thought federal hiring would grow the economy, they would have opened the hiring floodgates.
