ERBIL-Hewl�r, Kurdistan region 'Iraq',� The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has recently tried to certify a special domain for the Kurdistan Region and the KRG Department of Technology and now has successfully gained the �.krd� domain for the region, Bas news reported.
The KRG official website reported that on December 24, the KRG Council of Ministers officially asked the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to change its Top Level Domain TLD to �.edu.krd� with the cooperation of Department of Technology.
Now that the Kurdish domain has been obtained by the Department of Technology, from now on all websites that belong to the KRG Ministries will end with �.krd� like other official domains around the world.
