I liked Reagan but he was soft on immigration.
 
Reagan was a mostly so so president. His stance on immigration was bad. A lot of people think of him as the fellow that ended Russian communism and got rid of the Berlin Wall. He happened to be in office at the time. Russia's policies were catching up with them. The same thing would have happened with anyone else in office.

I was 5-12 Y/o during the Reagan years but I remember feeling a sense of national pride back then that has diminished since. The Bush/Clinton globalist years deliberately undermined the victory over communism by promoting the UN and NATO as the catalysts to defeat as opposed to the desire of the former USSR subjects desire for free markets and liberty.

Reagan "compromised" far too much with the domestic enemies of the republic. He should have had Ted Kennedy thrown out of a C130 for his collusion with the soviets. That was something that ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

I didn't support or vote for reagan. I have very little respect for him and what he did to America and his policies are still doing to America.

However, he's right about this. I remember that speech and thought he was full of garbage at the time. Now I see he wasn't. He was right.

We all grew up in that city he described. That was American. We took it for granted.

That America is no more. Thanks to trump.

Can we get our soul back?
