If “We” Had An Educated Electorate…

Actually it s Conservatives who have become obsessed with brown people, gays being out in the open and Muslims

They couldn’t care less about a comprehensive energy policy, public healthcare, affordable education, crumbling infrastructure or the environment

It always comes down to…..What are we gunna do about them Mexicans!
Stop being so racist! Yeesh. Why is this racist still allowed to post hate speech?

With so many programs that can help Americans……Healthcare, Infrastructure, Environment

Why are conservatives so obsessed with Mexicans?

D.C. seems to not like Mexicans. What is the synopsis for your healthcare, infrastructure and environment studies?

My minimalist dream is that everyone applying for a voter registration in the U.S. must, as a prerequisite, pass the VERY SAME TEST that immigrants applying for naturalization must pass. It is a pitifully simple test, and the passing score is a joke, but as we all know, such a mandate would devastate the voting power of "minorities," and hence, such a reasonable precondition would be met with apoplexy on the political Left.

But tell me please, what is unreasonable about this? Be specific.
I've often had the same thought. As education declines (people are taught more anti-education political malarkey) this idea we have is only going to make more sense... which is probably why it will never happen.

Intelligence is not a function of ideology, gang, no matter how desperately a partisan ideologue may want to make it so.

There are plenty of more intelligent/informed people, and less intelligent/informed people, across the political spectrum.

Unfortunately, once infected with a hardcore partisan ideology, intelligence & education take a back seat to that ideology.
The great but yawningly dull tragedy of narcissism is that the condition exists to prevent the incompetent from experiencing the pain of their incompetence, and they are thus prevented from addressing, and potentially correcting, this incompetence.

Now like and scurry. :)

If Republicans are so anxious to have tests that must be passed to be eligible to vote, let’s look at possible questions

1. Who won the 2020 election?
2. What is the best way to stop man made climate change?
3. How effective are vaccines in combatting pandemics
4. Where was Barack Obama born?

Should be easy for most voters to pass
Better questions will result in better answers.

1) How was the 2020 presidential election "won?"

2) Why are powerful elites obsessed with the concept of climate change, and how do they use this to their advantage?

3) What is a vaccine, and how effective are they against coronaviruses?

4) How cynically vacuous was the Obama slogan "Hope and Change?"

President Biden is scheduled to sign into law two major pieces of legislation on boosting US semiconductor production and expanding health care benefits for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits next week at the White House.

President Biden authorized a U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan that took out al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahri.

In conservative Kansas, there was a startling victory for Democrats and women's rights.

ABC reports, "The U.S. hiring saw a dramatic increase in July, as the economy added 528,000 jobs and the unemployment rate fell to a historic 3.5%. The 528,000 jobs added in July marks a significant uptick from 372,000 jobs added in June. Moreover, the figures signals an improvement from the already-robust hiring sustained over the first half of 2022, during which the economy added an average of 461,000 jobs each month.

CBS reports, "The Senate on Sunday passed Democrats' sweeping economic package designed to combat climate change, address health care costs and raise taxes on large corporations, marking a crucial achievement for President Biden and his party as they look to maintain their hold on Congress in the November midterm elections.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
ABC reports, "Americans maintain a sour view on the state of the economy and are pessimistic about its future course, with President Joe Biden’s approval rating across a range of issue areas continuing to suffer, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll.

"More than two-thirds (69%) of Americans think the nation’s economy is getting worse -- the highest that measure has reached since 2008, when it was 82% in an ABC News/Washington Post poll. Currently, only 12% think the economy is getting better and 18% think it is essentially staying the same.

"Americans' views of Biden's handling of the economic recovery remain overwhelmingly negative -- and are virtually unchanged from the same poll in early June, with only 37% of Americans approving of the job the president is doing and 62% disapproving in the latest ABC News/Ipsos poll."

Meanwhile he is destroying the middle, and working poor…the mask of the last 100 years is coming off.
While both parties are crime gangs, the Democrat crime gang is extraordinarily dangerous of late.

And that's the progressive goal isn't it now...? Eliminate the opposition, then the nation is subject to your will....

Pure evil.
The irony, of course, is that useful Democrat idiots will be the next ones into the wood chipper after their imaginary enemies are so eagerly dispatched.

classical christian education is the only comprehensive educational model that can restore our Western Christian Paideia, and give our kids and grandkids at least a fighting chance

like DNA determines our physical attributes, education determines our economic well-being and voting habits

The main problem appears to be the increased numbers of Low Information Voters flocking to the Republican Party
Of course there was no need to include whom and what they are fleeing from, none of us are so "low information" as not to be able to figure out who you were implicating
I don’t know if this is caused by inferior school systems in Red States, rampant inbreeding among Conservatives or something in the water systems in rural America
from the poster who got his own screen name exactly wrong :abgg2q.jpg:

Voting is a right of citizenship. You remind me of those who once advocated poll taxes and bogus literacy tests. But of course, they did not want minorities voting. How about you?
