China would be cut down to size and openly called out. Companies would be exposed for their double dealing with the Communists.

Reagan leaves office in 1988, The Wall comes down in '89. That was not a coincidence. 8 Years of trying to keep up with America while American expanded it's reach and cut the Russians off at every corner, calling them out, ostracizing them and making allies choose USA over Russia, took a great toll on the Commies.
