If man evolved from monkeys, where are the monkeys that half-evolved into men?

So life adapts, but doesn't evolve?
Correct. A moths wings may get darker but it's still going to be a moth.

Tell me this. Why should something change into another species? Answer - improve its chances at survival. Then why no changes in many creatures said to be millions of years old? They are far from being optimized creatures.
Unless they fill a niche, then they are optimized animals, not apex predators but they have survived for millions of years.
Everything always fills a niche. But there are always predators.

It's because species do not change into other species.
And also that still doesn't explain the island scenario, it's not same species with different adaptations, were talking totally different types of life
Mammoths is a close relative of the elephant. It is no longer around because it could not adapt.

So how do you explain the diversity of life on earth?

If species did not evolve from other species- where did they come from?

Why are there Galapagos tortoises in the Galapagos- but not in Peru? Why are there kangaroos in Australia- but not in South America?
Why does every creature have to live in the same place?

That's not the argument. Why the difference when across water despite being close?

Funny example.

Mammoths were a close relative of the elephant species- evolved from a mutual ancestor- that could no longer compete and died off.

OK, maybe it's not accurate to say men evolved from monkeys. But all members of the primate family are cousins to the homo sapiens species, is that not accurate?

And if that is so, why is there such a wide gap between the intelligence of humans and the intelligence of the other primates?

Why is there no primate race that can drive an automobile, or ride a horse, or work with tools?

Why is there such a diversity among plant and animal species in identical climates close by separated by deep water?
As you know, the water acts as an environmental barrier, preventing populations from interacting. Thus, their evolution is basically independent, giving rise to different species who fill the same ecological niches.

Diversity? Which mammal has 6 legs and a pair of eyes in the back of its head and two hearts and 6 lungs?
You missed that one. Ok island A. Has plant, bug, bird, and animal Y. It is only a few miles from island B, that has plant, bug, bird, and animal animal X. Both islands are seperated by an under water trench. Same climate, current, water, etc. how do you explain the diversity of life between the 2 islands?

You are totally clueless. LOL

Moths do not decide to change their color. You are misreading the soot on trees famous example from dumb dumb biology. The light moths who used to live now die as they are easily picked off by predators on dark tree trunks. The dark moths who used to die now survive to make more dark babies. The population color allele frequencies change, not the moths.

They exist. There is plenty of proof.

We Evolutionary Biologists do not use the term "adapt", cuz it implies determination. Organisms live and die, they do not change. You can say the species becomes adapted to their environments (past tense), but the individuals themselves do not change. Over long periods of time, a population's genomic frequencies can change and if they change enough, they can cause speciation.

Adapt is a lay person's term. Usually meaning they do not understand evolution.

There is no race of half-men/half-monkeys, either living today, or in the past. The lack of proof that something is true would normally indicate to liberals that it isn't true. But liberals believe in Darwinism like it's a religion, no proof needed.
Lack of proof doesn't mean that something isn't true.
You really don't understand any of this at all, do you?

Your first clue that a person does not understand evolution is when they mention Darwin. Chuck was indeed our father, but some of his conclusions are wrong. We have "evolved" way past Chuck in our understanding. HeHe

Lay people also misread Chuck as survival of the fittest, when they don't even understand the word fitness.

So what's your point? It's still an elephant, it's not a dolphin. A Golden Retriever and Toy Poodle are two distinct creatures, yet both are dogs.

Why Did the Woolly Mammoth Die Out? Reason Number One: Climate Change

Why Did the Woolly Mammoth Die Out? Reason Number Two: Humans (ala American bison)

Certainly, there ought to be a species of monkey that had half-evolved into a man, maybe half as smart as men, maybe able to read and write simple sentences, or able to drive a car or ride a horse?

But there is no such species as a half-man, half-monkey.

True, they have been able to teach sign language to apes, but it takes a great deal of human effort to do this, and you must feed apes constantly to keep them interested.

A human baby does not need treats to motivate it to learn, it is motivated by the learning process itself.

oh that is an easy question

they are democrats of course
