If Democrats Criminalize Opposition And Cripple The Court, Democracy Is Dead

There's nothing normal about a candidate calling up a secretary of state and telling him to change the outcome of the election for him.

We can't let anyone normalize what Trump did, or else our country is really in trouble. That's how you kill democracy.

Literally never happened.

Even calling Raffensperger at all was totally over the line and not normal.

Not. In fact, there is a lesson from Gore's disputing 2000 election and the constant court fights in Florida for a never-ending recount until Gore won the popular vote in Florida. None of Gore's attorneys were charged with any crime for multiple and repeated filings for more recounts in one specific county.

Oh, and had Gore eventually won the popular vote in Florida, the Florida Legislature was prepared to legislate a new slate of electors for Bush.

None of Trump’s indictments has anything to do with filing lawsuits.

Nothing I listed was legal action.

Trump took legal action by filing lawsuits and making his case before the court. He lost.

That’s when he started going through improper means.

No court, except one in Pennsylvania*, granted a hearing on the merits.

* And Democrats had that case immediately removed to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court (an unheard of occurrence) and that Democrat-dominated court then dismissed the cause of action (also unheard of).
