Idaho Tells Obama: Go To Hell

So Obama may land us in the worst constitutional crisis since the Civil War. Wow. And people thought he would change the tone in Washington. I guess he did.

Changing the tone in Washington is the ONLY thing he has accomplished and before this week is out there will be some body blows going on. It will turn in to hand to hand combat if this pig is passed. I just don't beleive Americans will wait until November to do anything, there could be riots in the streets. Americans don't like it when they feel their freedoms have not been repected and they certainly will not tolerate TYRANNY. Which is what we have with Obama.

The CBO #s will likely look OK because of the fact that taxes will be collected for years prior to expenditures. It is the numbers shell game having been played since DAY ONE on this monstrosity.

When Medicaid was passed it was estimated to cost 10 billion per year by 1980. The actual cost? $100 BILLION.

Such is governmental projections - always wrong. Once the program is in place, the waste and fraud via government incompetence will begin in earnest...

Medicaid is managed by the states, not the federal government.

And many states have incorporated the use of private companies to administer portions of their Medicaid benefits.

How's that hope and change workin out for ya??:lol:

Idaho took the lead in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul Wednesday when its governor became the first to sign a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government if residents are forced to buy health insurance.

Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states.

What should this say about this New HC Bill?

Or Should I say what should this show Mr Obama about his HC BS?

Another FAILED attempt by Republicans to deny Americans Healthcare

It won't work. States don't have the authority

How can something fail that hasnt been tried yet?

And how can we fail at denying healthcare when no one is denying American's healthcare? We are just denying the government power to interfer in healthcare. People have always been free to recieve services if they are sick.

Most people we know in Idaho really do not like socialistic type tactics that take away their freedom of choice. They also have strict laws concerning insurance companies that do not pay their insured when they are supposed to. An insurance company is liable up 100X the amount of the amount the insurance company was supposed to pay.

So 37 states are going to use tax dollars to fight a battle they cannot win? Good idea, especially in Idaho, when their state is in trouble, and they have one of the worst education systems in the country. I mean shit, they didn't even want to remodel a school near here when it was condemed.

We know they don't like to spend much on education either, and it shows.

The Idaho governor has just signed a measure requiring the Idaho Attorney General to sue the federal government if it requires its residents to buy health insurance. 37 other states are currently considering similar measures.

Idaho first to sign law aimed at health care plan

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho took the lead in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul Wednesday when its governor became the first to sign a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government if residents are forced to buy health insurance.

Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states.

Constitutional law experts say the movement is mostly symbolic because federal laws supersede those of the states.

But the state measures reflect a growing frustration with President President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

Yep--I think Virginia mentioned something along the same lines. Here we have more than half of this nation--making comments like this.

I still don't understand why federal laws supersede those of states. Whatever happened to the 10th admendment of the United States constitution?

I would sure like to get back to the 10th admendment to the U.S. Constitution--it's like the Federal government deleted it--:lol:

The Civil War happened.

I thought the right is wanting to prevent the states from regulating the insurance industries doing business within their borders?

This is what I foresee: This health care bill will pass, and challenged in the court, or the states will have a constitutional convention and add an amendment to it. This health care bill I think will not stand. When that happens, ACORN, SEIU, and all the communist will start the riots. Riots will not come from the average person!

Yes, and when those stupid dems in the house and senate see their bill slaughtered by The Supreme Court, I would like to be there to see the looks on their faces. 37 states are getting ready to challenge this bill on it's violation of the Commerce Clause. They are getting ready and they can high speed this on Monday after the vote- stated the Virginia Attorney General. He stated they can communicate with each other quicker than teenagers on twitter.:lol: They are gearing up for the challenge.

Is that before or after we have Martial Law?

That is after Palin becomes president.
