I want to know if any cons think this is the idea of fair control laws

1) Strict background checks
2) Gun registration
2) Closing all gun show loopholes

THAT'S IT. No ban on specific types. Just those three measures.

Registration leads to two things: 1) Ridiculous charges and wait periods to get said guns registered and 2) confiscation when the government decides you can't have that type of gun anymore.
