I heard for example the only contract between Whites and Red Indians, which was not broken from the Whites, was a contract between German seddlers in the USA and Red Indians. And I heard Germans tried often to help the Red Indians. Would be interesting to know, whether this is true. For sure is the respect specially for Red Indians - but also for other so called "indigen" cultures - in Germany very high.

Could be also interesting to know, how many German protestants came to the USA and how many Catholics. The relation should be 50:50, because this is the relation in Germany - but I have the feeling much more protestants came to the USA than Catholics.
