I agree with Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on reasons for the Civil War

Even though the tyrant lincoln offered them legal slavery forever, the civil war was still about slavery. Even though lincoln himself said it was about the economy, it was about slavery...
Goddamn, you people are fucking stupid.

Lincoln wasn't seceding. Look at why the CSA docs said they were seceding.

Lincoln even told them they could keep their slaves if they came back to the union and paid taxes. But muuuuhhhhhhhhhhh slavery DDDDDDEEEEERRRRRRRPPPPPPPP

Secession and war are two different events.
Secession leads to war. war leads to suffering. Suffering leads to Prequels!

Calling bullshit!
You don't think so? In the eighteen sixties most Americans never went more than ten miles from the house they were born in. What blacks did live in the north lived in the big cities and they were a very small minority even there. The 1860 census lists fewer than a half million free blacks and most of them likely lived in the south since blacks were very unpopular in the free states, as they competed with white immigrants for low-skilled jobs.

Founding Fathers insisted on Slavery

The entire south was willing to fight to keep 40 percent of the population in bondage
I didn't think the percentage of slaves was that high, but you are correct, 5.5 million free blacks and whites, 3.5 million slaves.

My ancestors were all over the place on the coming rebellion in the 1700s. There are rarely ever two sides to an argument.
The accepted breakdown on the revolution was one third pro-British, one third pro-revolution and one third "leave me the hell alone"

The founding fathers from the deep south insisted upon keeping slavery. The northerners had a choice, a nation with slavery in some states, or no nation at all. I think they chose the lesser of two evils. Although slavery would have ended sooner of the British had won the war and the USA never existed.

Slavery, taxation, and tariffs

The fact is that southerners never really liked yankees
So you agree, the right to own your brother, to rape, murder, and work them to death,
and then do the same to their children and grandchildren. They were the ultimate groomers.

Stop misrepresenting things.

The problem with discussing the Civil War is that most people only really have a Jr High History book chapter understanding (written by the winners) of what it was all about. That and what Hollywood and the Liberal media have told them. And of course the Negro victim hate to go along with the pathetic White Guilt pussies being confused about everything.

They don't know that Ft Sumter was caused by Lincoln breaking the treaty that Buchanan established. They don't know that the issue of slavery was really about power expansion in the West and gaining more power in Congress. They don't know that the brave Confederate soldiers were fighting to defend their homeland from an invasion by filthy shithead Union thugs.

The bad guys won that war and the good guys lost. We are paying the price for it nowadays with this bloated oppressive debt ridden welfare state banana republic we live in now that can't even protect its own border.
